This cozy condo is fully equipped for an amazing stay in the heart of Capitola Village! Named one of the best California beach towns by USA Today, Capitola features an abundance of eateries and shops all along the beautiful California coast. Located along the main path into the village, you will be steps away from shopping, restaurants and best of all, the ocean! Parking is included so you won't have to worry about driving anywhere!

The Space:
This is an older home that has been eclectically designed with items acquired through travels. There is carpet throughout the home.

- 1.5 bathrooms
- 2 reserved parking spaces inside a parking garage. There is paid street parking available too.
- Fully stocked kitchen w/ drip coffee maker

- Patio with outdoor seating

- No gatherings or parties allowed (strictly enforced)
- The exterior of this home is monitored by 24/7 surveillance recording devices for safety.
- Smart TVs with streaming capabilities (no local channels or cable).
- This home is pet friendly for 1 dog (30 lbs or less) for a $25/night fee. This fee will be added after the booking is confirmed and the initial booking is paid for -- Let us know if you want to bring your Dog! We are not able to host any other types of pets at this home

Capitola is a coastal jewel in Santa Cruz County. This charming seaside village is known for its colorful beachfront houses, coastal boutiques, and fantastic dining options. With a relaxed atmosphere, Capitola is a paradise for beach lovers and water sports enthusiasts. Stroll along the picturesque Capitola Beach and explore the unique shops and eateries. The city's scenic beauty, combined with a vibrant community, creates a perfect beachfront destination. Plus, its proximity to Santa Cruz offers easy access to the Boardwalk and additional attractions, making Capitola a delightful coastal retreat.

This is not a good place for gatherings or parties so please keep that in mind when booking this home. We are very respectful of our neighbors and will not tolerate loud noise past curfew and additional guests at the property.

Getting Around:
- Whole Foods, New Leaf, and Safeway (3-6 minute drive)
- Downtown Santa Cruz and the famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (15-20 minute drive North)
- The Monterey Bay Aquarium (50 minute drive South)

Other Things to Note:
- This is a dog-friendly condo allowing 1 dog 30 lbs or smaller to accompany you during your stay for a $25/night pet fee. Please let us know if your furry friend will be joining you!
- Capitola Village can be lively and this location has a front row seat! There is potential for noise both from travelers, shops as well as cars passing by.
- We have landscapers, pest service, and other property maintenance done on a weekly basis. You may see or hear these service professionals during your stay as they let themselves into the backyard to service as needed. Please be sure to ask about this before booking if you think it might be an issue for you.
- TV is a smart tv with streaming capabilities. There are no cable or local channels.
- The exterior of this home is monitored by 24/7 surveillance recording devices for safety.
- We are required to stick to our cancellation policy and we suggest adding trip insurance for any last minute issues that may impact your travel (Weather, Illness, etc). We are not able to cancel, move or refund bookings that do not fall in our cancellation policy for any reason.

Super location near the beach
I stayed at this property with my son and little dog for several days in April, so “slightly offseason.” The location is great—easily walkable to the main beach and the shops and restaurants of Capitola, and a 15-minute drive to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. We also appreciated the convenient off-street parking.

Great place with parking
The area of Capitola is gorgeous. The condo is easy walking distance to restaurants, the beach, a market (think abc store if you e been to Honolulu). I loved walking our dog around the neighborhood in the morning. My kids loved the beach and the freshwater stream running through it.

Although it turned out to only be two of us, it would have been fine for four. The only disappointment was the local restaurants were on winter hours which means they were open only Wednesdays through Sundays. Other than that, it was perfect for us.

Christmas in Capitola
My family husband ,2 kids 13&15 and pup 9 months all stayed in this spacious abode. I love that this place has two toilets. Downstairs has the two bedrooms and upstairs has the living room and kitchen plus extra toilet (1/2 bath). The walls are adorn with Capitola art festival art from the past. The kitchen is fully functional we made Swedish coffee cake in the oven no problem. One of the bedrooms has two beds but my youngest elected to sleep on the couch. The guest staying in the building were friendly and quiet. There’s cameras on the outside of the building making us feel pretty safe. Your car has two spaces to park in and is sheltered from the public and the weather. There’s a TV in the main bedroom and upstairs. The up stairs TV did NOT work. We found this out on Christmas Eve. We did Not contact the manager as I was taught not to mess with others holidays. It wasn’t a necessity. Also not having cable wasn’t going to ruin our family time. All in all we would definitely come back. Special note during the summer there’s live music directly next-door. It’s not a late night thing but if you have a baby you may look for something more quite. By the way if you can make it for the sunrise at the beach it will leave you breathless

Perfect stay in Capitola
This lovely condo was our home base during our annual Thanksgiving family gathering in the Santa Cruz area. The location is exceptional and the layout perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. Would not change a thing.
