The property consists of a modern four-bedroom villa plus a separate one-bedroom apartment - perfect for a larger family or group of friends. Enjoy breathtaking mountain and sea views, a beautiful garden, pool, and modern gym - just a stone's throw from the pristine Hout Bay beach.

Rhulani is Zulu and means relaxation – and this is exactly what awaits you in this peaceful, modern and cozy villa at the foot of mountain Karbonkelberg.

Villa Rhulani provides luxurious accommodation and a wonderful garden with a pool. The villa, with its 300 sqm and 90 sqm terraces is newly renovated and has been designed to cater for every need, with beautiful interiors, wooden floors, large sliding doors to bring the sun and sea into the house and luxurious linen, towels, and amenities for a most comfortable stay. Relax in the spacious living room in front of the state-of-the-art pellet oven, cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen with a dining table that seats ten people, or enjoy a barbecue in the private garden.

The main house consists of four large bedrooms and three bathrooms, and is perfect for couples, families, or a group of friends. On the ground level you will find three large bedrooms with two modern bathrooms. The free hanging, open staircase is truly an eye-catcher leading to the first floor with a lounge and bar area as well as the large primary bedroom with a beautiful en-suite bathroom. Glass sliding doors open to the balcony that stretches alongside the house facing the bay, offering a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean and Chapmans Peak.

Exciting news - we have just increased our accommodation offering on the property, with an elegant, newly designed, and private, one bedroom suite. Complete with a king size bed, en-suite bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, lounge, workspace, private courtyard and completely separate entrance. The "Protea Living" suite is perfect for an extended family or friends that would like to travel together. The suite can also be rented out separately during parts of the year (May-mid December).

We have also added a private gym with modern fitness equipment for those guests who would like to stay in shape during their stay.

Villa Rhulani Property is secured by a permanent electric fence, an own alarm system and armed response. High speed internet access is available. We use our own high quality borehole water and are independent from the public water supply.

You might know that in South Africa electricity outages may happen. The so-called "load shedding" can last from two hours a day up to more often, longer periods. We now sustainably produce solar-powered electricity which covers the essential demand.

Additional information for disabled guests:

The entrance from the street has several steps, but from the remote controlled garage gate and door there is easy access into the house through the double front door. The ground floor is spacious and is on one level with the dining room, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. The living room has 3 steps, no ramp is available.

- Children are very welcome but have to be watched closely. There are no security applications for e.g. the pool or the open stairs.
