The Sea Cottage Quarterdeck is an up-market one bedroomed holiday home located on the hillside above Fish Hoek beach, situated between the historical Simon's Town and quaint Kalk Bay. It is suitable for an idividual or a couple seeking a comfortable base from which to explore the wonders of the Cape.
There is easy access to the beach, restaurants, shops and public ransport. Hikers can explore the Elsiespeak mountain above the house or one of the other trails within the Table Mountain National Park.
The unit is on two levels, with the sunny living area and sea view balcony on top and the bedroom and bathroom below. The kitchenette is modern and equipped with new appliances including an induction hob, microwave oven, toaster, kettle and under-counter fridge. There is ample parking available on the road near the entrance with a staircase to the unit. This unit can be linked through double doors to the Sea Cottage - House to provide extended accommodation for large groups wishing to occupy both units.

The Beautiful Sea Cottage

The accommodation was in a beautiful neighborhood located close enough to Cape Town to allow us to visit in 30 minutes by car while staying in a quiet place. The cottage was very clean, quiet and offered a view of Fishhoek beach. We would recommend this cottage to any couple looking for a place to stay near a beach away from the downtown area.

Beach Stay

Loved this cute one bedroom in the hills with a great view of the bay/ocean. Easy walk down to the beach and town. Perfect place to say for a few days enjoying the beach and local culture. Love the beach walk. Unit had everything you need.Great rate also.

It was a lovely stay at the sea cottage. the neighbours are very friendly, especially trisha was wonderful. we felt very welcomed by them. the view is spectacular and the house is cute and offers all what you need for a stay in cape town. for our daily trips the location was perfect. thanks for having us!

Moonlit Memories

My wife and I had the privilege of staying in Fish Hoek at the Sea Cottage and loved our time there. It was wonderful to have a full function kitchen, sitting room on one floor and a spacious bedroom and bath on the floor below. We made some great memories visiting Simon's Town just a few minutes drive and watching the moon rise over Fish Hoek's bay. We hope to return and look forward to making more memories and enjoying dinners again at Live Bait and Harbor House! Thank you, friends, for your hospitality.

34 Sea Cottage Heaven

My friend and I stayed at 34 Sea View House for 2 weeks in late September / early October this year. Lovely house , beautiful views of Fish Hoek beach and surrounding areas. Ideal location to use as a base and very close to the main shopping area. The facilities provided were first class and the sleeping areas were light and airy. One thing to mention is the many stairs ( approx 70 ), via a private stairway, to get to the beach road. The stairs to get to the main road at the top , to get to the car was also approx 60 stairs. There was however a funicular lift which took you there , albeit very slowly. This obviously didn't work during load shedding. Something to bear in mind if any potential occupants are not able to climb said stairs during load shedding. Overall a great place for a couple or 2 to stay. Would highly recommend . Mark and Sarah were very attentive and communicative during our stay.

Ideal location

One of best base camp areas for anyone. Good, safe area with stunning views. Apartment is well laid out, clean and tidy. On street parking is well lit and secure with 24hr security patrols. Unlimited broadband was also a big bonus for us. Great beach. Uber covers the area very well. Plenty of dining options in the area. All in all, exactly what we hoped for. Many thanks to Mark and Sarah.
