Stay in this Older but Cozy House newly renovated, Just 2 & 1/2 blocks to the Convention Center, FAMOUS Wildwood Beach & Boardwalk. Water Parks, Shopping, Dining, & Entertainment, and the FREE Friday Night Fireworks that only Wildwood offers are also close. right across from wildwood high school, this house offers Free Comcast Blast WiFi, Ice Cold AIR CONDITIONING, OFF-STREET PARKING, BBQ GRILL, Pong Table Available(420 friendly) Among many other Amenities. There are (2)1br & a 2br. We rent for all major events such as basketball tournaments, PROMS, Memorial Day Weekend, Soccer, 4th of July, laborday weekend, Irish wknd, car shows, Frisbee, Lacrosse Tournaments. Descent sized Apt in an older house, 420 friendly, close to everything just 2 and a half blocks to boardwalk, beach and convention center, full bath, ice cold ac, comcast blast wifi with pod(ethernet jack) to insure excellent wifi as well as ethernet connection, 42 inch flatscreen(great for connecting game systems and devices just remember any connection cords), microwave, stove, bbq grills, full fridge, outside dining area, 19" tv with vcr, it has 5 beds(4twin1full)(2bunkbeds) max occupancy 11, pet friendly.

Fun MDW weekend

This property was really fun for young adults. We needed a cheap spot for MDW weekend where we had some freedom and this was it. It is an older apartment, but we made the most of it. The owner was really friendly and answered questions for us. We had 5 guys in there and didn’t feel like we were on top of each other at all, it felt bigger than the pictures looked. We also had a nice outside spot which was a huge benefit. Overall, the condo is older which some people may not like but if you are a college kid looking for a spot to have a fun weekend this is the place.

The apartment is very small and dark. It had a musty smell when we walked in. Multiple windows do not close. We wiped down and cleaned upon arrival because of the smell and there were coatings of dust on countertops. There are small throw rugs everywhere and under them is dusty and hair. Only 2 outlets work in the whole apartment and the owner has extension cords hanging from the outlets. One of said cords is literally hanging from a wall through one of the beds that are supposed to be used. WiFi goes in and out so if you need a reliable collection, that’s our. The apartment does not sleep 11 at all. We were a party of 4 adults and a 3 year old and 2 year old and had basically no room! There was also a leak in the ceiling right over top of the futon so that wasn’t usable. The tv in the bedroom isn’t usable and the tv in the “living room” is useless because there’s no sitting area. There are ants and we never even ate in the apartment. The tub was filthy and didn’t drain correctly so when we arrived there were two brown puddles inside the tub and it was slimy. Further more, the sink in the bathroom doesn’t work at all and there is no window or filtration system in the bathroom so it’s super hot and likely moldy. The bunk bed in the bedroom is breaking from the bottom, my child actually got cut getting out of bed on one of the bars underneath the bed. Bedroom door also gets stuck fairly often. Pictures show a sitting area, but you can’t really use it as it’s right outside the owners house and there’s garbage and junk and all types of stuff taking over the entire outside area. On the plus side, the location is convenient close to dollar stores and the boardwalk/beach. I guess this place is fine if you just need somewhere cheap to rest your head but it isn’t family friendly at all and it isn’t relaxing to stay at.

On my way to the unit, the host called me to check on my arrival time. During the call, the host mentioned his refrigerator is not functioning and he therefore stored some personal items in the unit's refrigerator under the assumption he can access the unit I will be staying in at his leisure. He also then informed me via message that TV access requires a Firestick, which was not mentioned in the listing amenities. Upon my arrival, the male host approached me without wearing a shirt, exposing his abdomen. After a few pleasantries, the host commented that I was alone with my dog. As a female, this did not make me feel safe. The host continued to talk, mentioning a few of his past relationships with females did not go well. He then let me into the unit. The unit itself was not as depicted in the photos in the listing (please see the attached). There were dishes in the drying rack, trash in the trash can, rust on the refrigerator, and a moldy hole in the ceiling. The handle to the closet door was broken. Moreover, the curtains did not cover all of the window and I did not feel safe using the unit since the host lives behind this unit and could potentially look inside to see me. There is a cleaning fee for VRBO stays however this unit clearly was not clean. Once the host left my unit, I sought shelter with family 30 minutes away so I felt safe. Then the host messaged me indicating he had left dog biscuits inside the door, which increased my uneasiness about the reservation.

Worst travel experience in my 48 years in this earth.

Completely falsified the property. Worst experience I’ve ever had. Didn’t even have a certificate of occupancy for the property. Was lied to and berated, told I’d get a refund and a place to stay, DID NOT Get EITHER. Lied to by both VrBo and landlord. Would never suggest this site to anybody, not even my ex wife who I hate.

If you're young and just want to party at the beach it'll be fine otherwise go elsewhere

I'll do a pro and con list and i'll add depth at the end. Pros: -Host was a nice guy, very accepting if you wanted to smoke or drink or have animals -The location is excellent. The board walk is a straight shot from the location -Tv worked well -Provided roof over your head and had a fridge, microwave, stove and shower -Provided good wifi Cons: -Has ants and mice -Immense cosmetic damage and the area you go in is cluttered and in complete disarray as to be an eye sore -Most of the power outlets did not work -No ventilation in the bathroom so mildew is inevitable and the shower curtain was severely torn (which is a small thing but its so small that I would think a reasonable person would just go to the dollar store and replace it) -There is a small drip that comes through the ceiling onto the futon -Says it sleeps 11 but there was a queen size bed, 2 bunk beds and a futon, so as a party of 7 we had to pull one of the mattresses down to the floor to sleep. The futon was in the kitchen, 1 bunk bed in the living room, with other two beds in the actual bed room, so this area is much smaller than it appears in the online photos -Online photos are outdated an inaccurate: (-)The Tv in the bedroom does not have an outlet it can reach so it just sits there and takes up space (-)There's also a lamp in the picture but it does not have a light bulb nor does the outlet it sit next to work (-) There is no fire extinguisher (-) The picture shows shiny fridge and stove... they are not shiny, nor is the floor nice, all the inside is run down (-) One picture shows the futon, but the picture listed with the kitchen does not show the futon, but that's exactly where the futon is located, so it gives the appearance that the place is a lot bigger than it actually is (-) Notice there is no picture of the outside where all the clutter is *Summary we all had a good time as the location is excellent. The place is not rustic. It's run down. For the most part it didn't matter a whole lot because we didn't spend a ton of time in the place. However this place does appear to be misrepresented and like I said if you just want a place to party and crash you'll be ok. However if you want to spend anytime inside relaxing this is not the place. -

The property has piles of garbage in the driveway and around the exterior. Parking in the driveway was not possible due to a boat also filled with garbage taking up the space. The interior was broken down (not rustic). Mattresses were dirty, fridge was dirty inside. Stay away.

we stayed here for 3 days, as soon as we walked in there was a smell and we don’t know what it was and we burned candles and incense to make it smell good, the bathroom is very old and shower doesn’t have any water pressure, it’s not a bad house overall but could be nicer with a couple improvements , also we’re ants and the window doesn’t close
