Walk to Washington St. Mall

Updated, spacious and charming property located in desirable West Cape May and walking distance to restaurants and shopping in downtown Cape May! This home is a pleasant 15-minute walk to Broadway Beach and the promenade. Homeowners also provide two beach boxes for you on Broadway Beach with beach chairs, umbrellas and some toys for your use. The house has two floors with downstairs consisting of an open, covered front porch with chairs, one first floor bedroom adjacent to the living room (queen bed), the living room (with a queen pull-out sleeper), the large eat-in, remodeled kitchen (seats 6), a dining/bar area room (seats 4 more), a full bath with shower, a back room with another queen pull-out sleeper, a newly decorated screened-in back porch area.Upstairs consists of a front bedroom (queen), a hall full bath with double sink vanity, shower and bathtub, another bedroom (two twins) and the master bedroom (queen) with full bath and shower. A spiral staircase in a closet at the back of the kitchen leads to the master bedroom to enable access without needing to go through the upstairs middle bedroom, which is adjacent to the master bedroom. There’s also an enclosed outdoor shower. Homeowners provide 12 beach chairs, 12 beach tags, 6 beach umbrellas and a few beach toys along with a beach wagon if you need to bring extra stuff that won’t fit in beach box. This property does not provide sheets or towels. The owner provides pillows and light bedspreads only.

To say we were delighted with this property is an understatement! It exceeded our expectations on all fronts! The location was great ... we easily walked to West Cape May as well as to dinner, Congress Hall and all the beaches. The house was ideal ... we took advantage of four large bedrooms w comfy beds, great screened in porch and outside sitting areas, three full baths, two nice tv/sitting areas and a beautiful wrap around porch. The kitchen was also well furnished. There was also parking and a coffee shop within a half a block! We thoroughly enjoyed our girls' weekend and would enthusiastically recommend this property.

Nice well equipped vacation home

Home was very nice for a family beach week. It was a good location for mall and some restaurants. It is a bit far to walk to the beach in the heat but doable. Sofa beds not comfortable but it definitely sleeps 8 well.

2024 Eldridge Vacation

The property is located on a quiet street, about .6 miles from beach. We walked each day and with the provided beach boxes and beach tags - this was much more enjoyable than trying to transport all of our beach gear each time. Only considerations would be that the HVAC was set at 70 degrees which was rather chilly for our taste and it would have been nice to be able to set to around 74 degrees. Or have the option to turn off and open windows to enjoy the Cape May breezes. Also, the door to the bathroom off of the kitchen, is swollen and would not close completely. Good thing we are family. Overall our vacation was great, lovely home with lots of space, so we never felt crowded - everyone could find a nook for themselves. Thank you.

Nice Place.

We enjoyed the house. We had 4 dogs - really no one else would rent to our group so BIG THANKS for that! They were all well behaved. Some light bulbs were out. It took us a day to figure out the AC wasn't on (that's really on us). My bed (top back bedroom) was terrible (it felt totallybroken down) but no one else had complaints about theirs. The back yard isn't big, but it's 100% fenced in so that was great for the dogs. All in all, I do recommend it.

Wonderful house in a quiet neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It was located in a quiet neighborhood that was a short walk to the beach and center of town. The house had a fenced-in back yard, large kitchen and living room, and all bedrooms were generously sized. We would definitely stay there again if the timing works!

We had the best vacation come off the house was so roomie and clean and had everything we needed. The shops and the beach are close, with lots of sites in between. Holly was amazing, we have the best vacation!

Nice place, good experience

We had a wonderful stay on Cape May over Memorial Day weekend. The house is well located, well managed, and as described. We would recommend. We found the property management company responsive and professional; my only recommendation would be to consider an automated check in and out process so that the client doesn't have to drive to the office for keys.

Cape May Christmas tree lighting and parade

The property was perfect. It was just a short walk to the corner to watch the Christmas parade and only a 10 minute walk to Washington Street mall. We all had a great time!
