Southern Exposure Pool Home on Direct Access Canal

Kick back in The Cape at this wonderful 3 BR 2 BA waterfront pool home on a beautifully maintained lot by the Wendy Canal, two turns to the Caloosahatchee River. Being so close to the river brings more chances of seeing dolphin, rays or manatees while relaxing on the home's brand new dock and tiki table.

The home's high ceilings and open floorplan are great for socializing and spending quality family time. Classy furnishings include a leather couch and chairs, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, stylish bedroom suits (high quality king mattresses in all bedrooms) and comfortable pool furniture.

The home has pocket glass slider doors which let you "open up" the interior of the home to the area surrounding the southern-facing, heated pool. There is also a hot tub by the pool. Views of the pool and canal from the master bedroom mean you wake up each morning to a tropical paradise.

We love the home and are confident you will too!

If you decide to explore outside of Cape Coral, Fort Myers beach is only 13 miles away and the heart of Sanibel is within 20 miles.

Hosts were excellent. House was a perfect home base. We had everything we needed to cook and enjoy the stay. Pool and hot tub were both great as well. Hosts were communicative and gave us recommendations for local restaurants and events during our stay.

Perfect Cape Coral Getaway

We had an amazing time at this beautiful vacation home! The pool was perfect for relaxing during the day, and we loved sunning by the canal and soaking in the hot tub in the evenings. Grilling outside and spending quality family time made it even more special. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Steve was a fantastic host—very responsive and a great communicator. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Wonderful

It was a awesome home. It had absolutely everything you could need in it. Cleaning supplies, batteries, plastic bags, some condiments in fridge, pool floats, When I go back I will defiantly stay here again. The pool area is great, yard is landscaped higher so when sitting by pool you have a great view of the water. Would 100% recommend. Perfect

Fantastic Family Stay

Our family of 4 loved our weeklong stay at this property. The house was incredibly clean and was stocked with pool and beach essentials. The outside pool area is where we spent most of our time and our young kids absolutely loved it! Would stay here again without any hesitation whatsoever.

Fantastic home in Cape Coral

Very pleasant and comfortable home. Plenty of space to share with visitors. Wonderful pool patio that is sunny all day. I used the bikes multiple times, there are many fun places to visit nearby. Very quiet location. Would highly recommend this home for families. Well stocked kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, spices. And the huge counter island is the perfect place to gather and enjoy time together.

Dolphins in the backyard!

This was an amazing, well kept property. Great kitchen space for making meals with lots of spices, warm pool, hot tub, bikes and kayaks were in good condition, nice quiet neighborhood, and close to many attractions. Pool service and lawn care staff arrived without notice, but they were professional and friendly. Very attentive hosts. Only thing missing was a clock by the pool - but no biggie as we were on Florida time! Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

It’s a Winner!

We stayed for 8 wonderful days. Everything anyone could ask for was included in the furnishings and kitchen supplies. But it was the outdoor lining space that was over the top! The lanai, pool, hot tub and dock on the canal were where we spent all our time. Hoping to go back next year.

Home was great other than the AC!!! Cape Coral, Ft Myers Area is a warm weather destination. Upon check in homes interior temp was 80 degrees. Our first full night of sleep was how should I put it… sticky.!!! During daytime hours AC would not maintain what was selected on the thermostat. 68=73degs. We were afraid to put any more strain on an already subpar system for fear of AC breaking altogether. 73 ya your thinking wow what a baby!!! With 80% humidity not good!!! Other than that the house is as advertised. Little dated but pictures show that. Just needs a new air conditioner that’s all.

The Real Deal!

My husband and I stayed at Steve and Steph's home for a week. Everything from the reservation process (carried over from when the pandemic started and NYS had strict travel rules for us) to checking out on our last day was perfect! Steve and Steph are incredible hosts. They were so willing to work with us when we encountered travel restrictions in 2019 and then again this trip when our flight was cancelled and our arrival was delayed by a day due to having to have to drive from Buffalo. When we got to the house, we completely relaxed thanks to the beautiful setting! Whether you want to sit by the pool on the very comfortable furniture, relax on the beautiful dock, or even sit inside and lounge on the sectional watching tv, there is something for everyone!! We rented a 25' bowrider, which fit perfectly on the outside of the dock, and took daily rides, with the river being so close and easy to get to. The southern exposure made the pool superb for the sun lovers. We also used the bikes, beach chairs and umbrella. The kitchen is very well equipped and we used it and the grill for a few dinners. The house and all of the extras made for a perfect vacation!! We will definitely rent this house again!!!!

This is a beautiful place. Well equipped, and with more supplies than at any home we have stayed in for the last 6 years. The cable TV had way more channels than most rentals (for those rainy days). Having Roku in the bedrooms was also a surprise. Lots of linens, towels etc. Just a short hop to Walmart or Publix for food. We really enjoyed our time there and may stay again next year

Wonderful Home

Our family group of four had a great time in this home. It is extremely clean and well-stocked with essentials, both in the kitchen and bath. The location on the canal was absolutely lovely, but the star of the property is really the private enclosed pool and hot tub, which we used every day.

Spectacular Place to Stay

What a great place to stay in Cape Coral. First, the photos accurately reflect the house. The place was very clean which is important to us. The pool was great. The Tiki Bar area was a great place to sit and have morning coffee and lunch. This was the first time out of the many times we have stayed in Cape Coral that we saw a dolphin in the canal. Swam right by the dock. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Absolutely recommend this house and host
