New Home On Rural Eastern Shore Farm

This home is located on a scenic Eastern Shore farm. It is on a secluded farm but nearby the charming town of Cape Charles with its beautiful beaches, eclectic shops and great local restaurants. The 6 bedroom, 4 bathroom home has a state of the art gourmet kitchen with all stainless steel appliances. The back deck looks out on a firepit and antique brick patio. There is a flat panel satellite TV and WIFI.

The beaches of Cape Charles and Kiptopeke State Park are nearby. There are fishing piers at Cape Charles and Kiptopeke State Park. There are convenient boat ramps at Cape Charles, Kiptopeke State Park, Oyster and Wise Point. The BayCreek signature golf course is just a few minutes away with both an Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicholas signature golf course. Cape Charles now has its own distillery, cidery and brewery.

This house enjoys a sister house across the street, The Fishing Cottage VRBO #615953. Both are 6 bedroom houses. Large parties and famiy reunions can rent both homes.

We stayed two nights at this place. It was quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we need it. Kitchen had what we need for coffee and liquids all good. If you ask me what would I change it would be the bath in the 3rd floor shower wise way too small. Other than that all good.

Great location and beautiful farm!

Thank you for your hospitality Merle! The location was great, very close to the beach, the fishing pier and local eateries. My husband and I enjoyed the beauty of your farm. We enjoyed the firepit very much. A couple things to improve for the next guests would be to spray down the grass for bugs, and freshen up the towels and shower curtains. Your farm kitty cats were adorable!! Thank you!😁

Nice location. For the most part, I was satisfied. The house does need a deep cleaning. The stove/refrigerator needed attention. Would like to have had space in the pantry to place a few items. Please make checking under all beds as part of the cleaning process.

Hi! We did enjoy your very nice house/property. We just found the twin bed and full bed on the second floor extremely uncomfortable. The furniture in the living room…sofa was fine, however, the two round chairs were really dirty. We loved the yard and wish we could have enjoyed the fireplace out there but the weekend was rainy. Thank you so much for your hospitality. PS I didn’t realize this was a pet friendly rental…😁. We did enjoy our stay!

During our 3 day stay, 4 of the guests got severely sick from what we believe was the water at the house. The house used well water and sits on a large farm. The owner should get the well water tested for contaminants. As stated in other reviews, the house could use a deep cleaning. Cobwebs throughout and some of the bathrooms barely have any water pressure. The kitchen supplies, while numerous, don’t have a lot of the necessary everyday items such as measuring cups.While everyone was asleep, the smoke alarms started going off at 2am for no reason. Some alarms wouldn’t stop even while unplugged. Lots of room and beds for larger family. Easy check-in and checkout.
