Waterfront on the Horseshoe

Must be 25 years or older, provide a copy of drivers license and credit card must be on file to book. Credit card is for any damages or violations, such as - broken items, damaged items, damaged linens, towels, left over trash or excessive mess that the cleaning crew needs to address. If house needs additional cleaning time due to trash left out or house is not taking care of and additional cleaning fee of $500 will be collected. Any damages will be the responsibility of the guest and remitted within 2 days of invoice.

Please be aware that if smoking is detected in the home, there will be a fine of $1,500 associated with it. This measure helps us manage the impact on the property and ensure compliance with our no-smoking policy.

Please make sure all trash is bagged up and put in the trash cans provided outside the house. All dishes, rinsed, and put in the dishwasher. All food and trash off the counters and put in the trashcan any food in the freezers or refrigerators to be taken with you or thrown away.

Excessive cleaning will have an additional charge of $750.

Additional guest above 15 will be charged $45 per day per person.

Excellent communication, and such a beautiful property. Lots of nice amenities and plenty of room for relaxing. The game room was very fun and also nicely equipped. Highly recommend this beautiful stay.

This property is amazing. The house is beautiful and spacious. We stayed 6 nights with a large family group and never felt overcrowded. I have rented several homes in the area over the past 25 years, I can say without hesitation this house is the best one yet. Perfect location for floating the river or just sitting in the water people watching. The host was very friendly and accommodating. They definitely know how to take care of their guests. The pictures of this house although impressive, do not do it justice. We are already planning our next stay. I cannot thank Jack enough for sharing this property with us and Shannon for taking care of all of our needs during our stay.

The home is wonderful. The kitchen is well stocked to host dinners. The piece of property is well kept and very peaceful. The game room was a hit and kept everyone busy.

2024 friends and family trip

A bunch of friends and family and I took a weekend trip out to canyon lake and had the BEST time here!! The house and property were absolutely gorgeous. Super clean, plenty of space, and the coolest game room to hang out in. Will definitely be renting here again!

Great House

Had a group of 10 adults staying for 3 nights. We all really enjoyed the house. It had everything we needed, just needed a little extra tidying in some areas. Water was so cold on the horseshoe, but it didn't stop us from putting our feet in. Just know that if you want a float that's more than just the horseshoe, you've got to drive 5-10 minites to tubing outfitter on river road. We used Roy's both days that we floated. The only suggestions are to fix the fan in the upstairs double king room (it got stuffy in there), add a trash can to the game room and add a half bath to main or game room areas. Also, have the housekeeper check dressers and toss whats gets left (there were shorts on the 3rd floor deck and multiple clothing items left in the dresser - we left them where we found them).

Best House We've Ever Rented on VBRO

This house...AMAZING! Perfect location, extremely well stocked, clean and has the most amazing hidden feature that is not shown in the pictures or description. Maybe it's a new feature to the house, but our entire family -- age ranges from Grandparents in upper 60's to my niece that is 7 years old all enjoyed very much. The house looks exactly like the pictures. Right on the river, we brought our camp chairs down into the river and hung out in the afternoons. If you float the Horseshoe Loop -- you float right by the house, we all stopped for lunch on the way past. I would 100% stay here again and again -- and have already mentioned the house to multiple friends about trying to do a friends river trip in the future.

Perfect location!

The house was great! Staying in the horseshoe and having that riverfront access was a great way to be able to enjoy the river and not have to float everyday. The view is beautiful and you can here the music from whitewater amphitheater echo through the river canyon. The house was very spacious and had just about everything you need when you get there. We had a great time and hope to go back next year!

Fantastic!!

A group of 16 of us stayed for a weekend to float the river, but never ended up leaving the house!! Why leave when you are in the perfect spot to just sit in the river and enjoy!! Beds were comfy, we didn't need anything because the house was so well stocked - we are already looking for a weekend to schedule for next year
