  • The heart of this lake house is relaxing and entertaining on the large deck from which the views are magnificent, sunrises in the morning and stargazing at night! From the deck you enter the main floor with kitchen, dining, living, and master bedroom. More fun can be had downstairs playing ping pong and board games in the recreation room. Relax in the large garden tub at the end of your day. We are one block from the lake, 5 minute walk to boat ramp, and 10 minutes to the river and river outfitters or Marina for boat and jet ski rentals. We have a kayak, paddle board, river floating tubes, and bicycles for your outdoor adventures. We are a short drive to Gruene and New Braunfels for fabulous restaurants, shopping, and live music. Close to over 20 wineries, distilleries and awesome food.

Spring Break

IWe love staying at this property. This trip we brought our dog the owner was amazing left our Lilly little dog treats which I though was just so nice and added to how amazing it is to stay at this home.

Fantastic getaway

Lovely home - it is spacious, clean, and feels very new. The patio is spectacular! A great choice to bring our extended family for a few nights' getaway.

We used the game room a lot, it was really nice to have an indoor place to play, it is not as big as it looks in the pictures however it works.

Great view

Enjoyed staying here the house was comfy and clean. The location was away from everything but the great views and neighborhood and scenic drive was nice. So that makes up for it. The yard and yard furniture could use some tlc for the price. But overall great place! Loved sitting on balcony upstairs and enjoyed view nice porch upstairs.

We had a great time

The house was perfect for our group. The kids and adults loved the game room. The deer come right up to you. Our first day one came right up to my daughter and started licking her hand. Had a nice sized fenced in yard for the dog to run around but beware because the deer will jump the fence and hang out in the yard too. The porch is huge and very comfortable with nice views. There are a couple of kayaks there but no paddles. All in all we had a great time at this vacation home.

Family lake time

The house was excellent, had a little issue with the A/C. It a Programing issue, and they worked with me to fix it right away. Had a issue with the Wi-Fi, they worked with me to fix that as well, it still had issues, but I wasn’t there for the Wi-Fi, it was 2 minutes from the boat ramp!! All in all it was awesome and they were professional.

Everything was great only thing trash can was full

Everything was great kids enjoyed the view and the game room. Just felt bad cause I left trash on the outside of trash can. Really didn’t know where I could hall off and throw it. Besides that it was great. I really enjoyed it. Thank you for allowing us to stay at one of your properties.

eGreat stay in Canyon Lake. Great location in the neighborhood and to grocery store, gas and town,.

This property was exactly what we were looking for our stay at Canyon Lake. Great location in the neighborhood and to the lake. Easy access to the grocery, gas and Whitewater Convert Venue. The house had a great deck and yard for pets. Thank you so much for our stay.

Everything was just as described in the listing!

Wonderful time, beautiful views. Friendly neighborhood. The deer are not timid and were always around. Plenty conveniences within short distance. Would definitely recommend for families as there was entertainment for all ages supplied in the home. All around great experience!

What new VBRO owners need to know about expectations

Run down, just enough done to present a shadow of the online picture. Only light in master bath, no other lights in master bath. Shower handles, head a mess. Beds: ikea specials, not great. Shortage of towels, fortunately too cold to swim. No overhead lighting in activity room in lower level. Lack of basic appliances in kitchen, no toaster, all plates, pans and flatware, bargain basement specials, ice maker didn't work, grout in kitchen tile non existent, which makes the guest feel like we are investing in this endeavor. No window coverings in living room so any activity at game table is on full display to the neighborhood. Outdoor patio, firepit looks bombed out. This property did not come close to meeting out expectations compared to the other properties we have rented. It also doesn't help to leave the company van and other toys in the driveway while we are in residence, it shows little respect for the idea that we are paying for an independent get away. Won't recommend to anyone. Invest in upgrading the property so that future guests don't feel like the poor interloping cousin.

Great House at Canyon Lake

Wonderful large house with wraparound porch. Lots of family fun games for the kids and plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Just a few minutes walk down to the boat ramp and nearby towns of Wimberley and New Braunfels provides plenty of entertainment. Neighborhood is safe and friendly and there are about 10,000 deer wandering around!
