Great Summer Getaway!

Property was just as listed and host was very accommodating. The location is perfect! Right on the water for a lovely and relaxing day on the river. Great for our adults only getaway but also for families and children. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the River Rose. The trip wasn't what we had planned, due to the flooding of the Guadalupe River a week before, but it was what we needed. The house was clean and well organized and the property was gorgeous. The mornings on the patio were very relaxing, due to the bird feeders that attracted many types of birds and the resident squirrels. The neighbors who had rented the large house down the way were quiet noisy during the day but we managed.

Riverfront R&R

Our family just had the best weekend. First off, there couldn’t be a more beautiful location. The breeze through the trees and therapeutic harmony of birds… amazing. The Guadalupe is lovely, cool and refreshing. The home fit our family of six perfectly. We never once “needed” a thing. All basic needs and then some were available. Dennis was a great host. We only wish to have stayed longer.

Favorite River getaway

This is our third time visiting River Rose. We absolutely love this hidden gem that is close to the dam. Although the water is very cold, this home’s river access is top tier. You really have the river to yourself. The host has done a wonderful job making sure the house has all the comforts of home. They are quick to respond if you have any issues or concerns. We were concerned about weather conditions and were given current updates quickly. We cannot wait to book for next summer!

This is the perfect place to relax and unwind with family. We all soaked in the river and watched all the wildlife. It was perfect and peaceful. The house is so cute. Plenty of space for everyone.
