This Canyon Lake getaway is nestled among scenic, wooded hills for a secluded and relaxing stay in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Walk out onto the back porch and you'll feel as though you've stepped into the countryside as you watch the family of deer walk through the hills and trees during your morning coffee, soaking in the peaceful surroundings while lying on the massive swinging bench.
We're only 5 minutes from the lake, 10 minutes from the Guadalupe River, & 15 minutes from Wimberley!
This property features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with an open concept living room. This is the perfect stay for a couple, a small family, or a group of friends.
Enjoy the beautiful scenery from our massive deck, cozy up by a fire under the stars with our outdoor fireplace, or relax in our newly added hot tub. The backyard will capture your heart, as it has ours, because of the peace you feel being surrounded by the countryside.
The hill country views are amazing, and we are located close to some of the best spots in Texas Hill Country!
The home is located: -5 minutes from the lake -10 minutes from the Guadalupe River & Whitewater Amphitheater (the closest float is the Horseshoe Loop, a 2.5hr float depending on water levels) -15 minutes from Wimberley and local breweries/wineries -20 minutes from San Marcos and the Tanger Outlets -20-30 minutes from Gruene, New Braunfels, and Schlitterbahn -30 minutes from Dripping Springs -1 hour from Fredericksburg
The home is located in a cul-de-sac with 2 other homes to the right of us but no one to the left or behind us. You cannot see any neighbors from the back porch which makes the home feel very secluded.
On your drive to the house, you will be immersed in the beautiful rolling hills of Texas Hill Country and if you look closely, you'll even be able to see the lake at the peak of the hills from the neighborhood!
For those of you looking to do some work during your stay, we offer high speed internet, and our dining table has a great view for you to enjoy during the workday.
The home is furnished with a king-sized bed in the master bedroom and a queen-sized bed in the second bedroom. The optimal amount of guests is 4 people, but if you're willing to squeeze, it could fit 5-6 people - Although, someone might have to sleep on our comfy sectional to make it work for parties larger than 4!
In the kitchen, you will find that it is stocked with all the silverware, cutlery, dishes, pots, pans, spices, and cooking oil you'll need to make meals at home.
We also provide a coffee bar stocked with a Keurig, coffee pods (including decaf), a selection of teas, sugar, and creamer.
The living room is furnished with a nice flat-screen Roku TV so you can login to any streaming app during your stay.
Additional amenities you will find include: a washer and dryer, iron, blow dryer, towels, shampoo/conditioner, and more.
You'll have access to the entire home, other than the garage, as that stays locked for our cleaners.
We are happy to host furry friends, but we do want to make note that the backyard is not fenced in. For those requesting to bring along a pet, we ask that you approve that with the host first.
Please note that anytime you book a home in Texas Hill Country, there is always the risk that the county could be under a burn ban based on recent weather conditions. As of right now, Comal County is NOT currently under a burn ban. We work hard to keep our guests updated on the current status of any burn bans. Our hot tub is always available for use and is a great way to stay warm while enjoying the outdoors year round, especially if any burn bans prevent guests from using the outdoor fireplace.
Please note that we do not allow check-ins or check-outs on major holidays (NYE & NYD, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Day). This is so we can allow our cleaners to have these holidays off with their families.
Please note, in an effort to maintain a secure premises, the home is equipped with a ring doorbell and three exterior cameras. One exterior camera looks out into the front entrance/driveway and the other two are located on the backside of the house. The cameras are ONLY on the exterior, and there are no cameras on the inside.
Our home is thoroughly cleaned between each stay which includes the hot tub.
Any items left behind by a guest will be either thrown out, or shipped to the guest at their expense.

Quiet hours: 9pm - 8am
Pets are allowed but must be approved by the owner first. Please message us prior to booking. VERY IMPORTANT: The home is not fenced and our neighbors get very upset when pets go in their yard. Pet owners must use a leash when taking pets outside and can only take them to potty in the backyard.
Use of drugs on the property is prohibited.
Guests cannot check in or out on the 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE or NYD. This is so our cleaners can also have those important holidays off with their families. Please adjust your reservation accordingly before booking.
Late check outs will incur a $50 fee every 30 minutes guests are late on check out.

Outstanding experience
Very nice, well maintained, super clean and cosy house, with lots of attention to details and great management.
Fully equipped with all you need, even extras like lotions in the bathroom. The only very minor negative was the proximity to the main road, which can get noisy at night when outside at the porch.
Definitely we would stay again!

Wonderful
We loved this house. Drinking coffee in the morning on the deck, soaking in the hot tub after a long hike, and happy hour by the outdoor fireplace. The place was spotless and very comfortable. Texas Hill country is beautiful in the spring

Fall Getaway
This property made for a great getaway with the family. Close enough to roam around San Antonio while still remote enough to relax and slow down.
The hot tub was great for winding down in the evenings and the kids enjoyed watching deer from the kitchen window then going out to look for their tracks later.
Host was very accommodating and accessible. Great property if looking to explore the area but do not want to be in town.

Great place to stay!
Cute, clean and comfortable house in a nice neighborhood, perfect for one or two couples. Close to everything in the area, quiet and peaceful to wake up in and come back to. Loved the porch, nice kitchen, comfy beds. Highly recommend!

Quiet and Relaxing
The house was super cute, very clean and so incredibly well decorated. The beds were all very comfortable with nice linens. I loved the back porch swing and fireplace. We only stayed for one night but would absolutely stay here again. It's a beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood.

This was a great place to stay, in a convenient and quiet location. The pictures are accurate, the house was very clean and nicely furnished. The porch and outside fireplace were comfortable. Our dogs enjoyed the yard and many walks in the area.

Amazing House
Me and my mother were on a mother/daughter trip and stayed at this home for 1 night. The house was as so cute, so incredibly clean and comfortable. We stay in a lot of Vrbo/airbnbs and this was by far the cleanest.Host had everything we needed and it was such an easy in and out place. So close to Wimberley which is where we were spending our time. Super quiet. Check out was a dream. So easy. Didn’t ask us to do anything crazy. Super easy. Would recommend and stay again!!

Beautiful and very private cabin located close to everything!
My husband and I celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary at this beautiful little cabin in Canyon Lake. It had all the comforts of home not to mention a relaxing outdoor fireplace to sit under the stars. Lexi was so very helpful and had great communication during our stay. We will come back soon!💘💘💘

My fiancé, 2 pups and I enjoyed our time, Lexi was very communicative and helped with finding activities nearby us which was a nice help.

We stayed for 11 days at the Canyon lake home and were extremely happy we picked it. It was a great location to travel in every direction and find something new to do everyday! We went to at least 6 different parks over the extended week to hike and enjoy the weather and scenery. Both Austin and San Antonio are close enough for a day trip. Best part is when you get tired of traveling and eating out you can enjoy the house and porch for a quiet home and dinner to relax and plan your next adventure!

Location, location, location
My husband, adult son and I spent 4 nights at this Canyon Lake property and it couldn't have been more ideal. There is so much to do in this area. We explored Fredericksburg, San Antonio, Austin, Gruene and Wimberly which were all within easy driving distance from the house! We finished each day with dinner at the house, so having a grocery story minutes away was handy! We enjoyed cooking on the grill and hanging out on the back patio. The house is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. The first night we were unable to start the grill and Lexi responded immediately, and by the next day there was a new grill! Lexi even offered to buy us dinner, but there is enough cookware and spices that we had a great meal on the stove.
We are already thinking about our next visit to this property- the next time we will bring our boat and take advantage of the beautiful lake.

Cozy Valentine Get-a-way
This was a very cozy and peaceful retreat from the big city with my spouse for a nice Valentines celebration and anniversary get-a-way. I would highly recommend and would give 5++ stars! The listing was spot on; we loved the ease (digital lock) of entering/leaving the cute cottage; our little Schnauzer felt right at home; the decor was very beautiful and bed was so soft and comfortable we snuggled right in and slept well! We loved the atmosphere and property; the back patio and fireplace were so wonderful and relaxing and we could see all the stars at night! Lexi was quick to reply and a fantastic host with all the amenities we could ask for; cute little town of Wimberly also! LOVE LOVE LOVED our stay and it went TOO fast! We want to return to this property when the weather is warmer and spend more time outdoors on the wonderful property; thank you again!!!!!
