PLEASANT PLACE GETAWAY
HOME, SWEET, COUNTRY HOME!!

SECLUDED, Yet just 10 minutes away from First Monday Trade Days, this "PLEASANT PLACE" Getaway is peaceful, charming, and completely surrounded by nature. This lovely 2 bedroom / loft / 2 bathroom home is completely furnished with linens, towels, and a full kitchen with a gas stove top and double ovens.
Bedroom #1 has a kingsize, fully organic mattress for a healthy nights sleep.
Bedroom #2 has a queen Murphy bed (pulls down from wall).
The downstairs 1 1/2 bathroom opens into the king bedroom and also into the hallway.

Upstairs, there is a loft (access via stairs, not a ladder), with a pillow top queen bed and a full bathroom.
The loft overlooks the kitchen / living area, with beautiful outdoor views.
There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. It is a Haverty's standard sleeper with upgraded mattress.

You are welcome to try fishing in our pond but it is not stocked. There are small perch and we have occasionally caught catfish.
Sorry, NO swimming (water activities) allowed and NO using of pedalboat or kayaks.

Our house is also on this property, approximately 100 yards from Pleasant Place Getaway. There is also a "visual" block (storage building) in between the 2 houses for your privacy.
This property is a wonderful family atmosphere. :-)

ADDITIONAL FEES WILL BE ADDED for unapproved pets and early check in, or more guests than what is stated in your reservation.

Check in is 3pm and check out is 11am. (10am on First Monday Fri/Sat.)
Late check out may be available upon request.
RATES are based on 2 people. For couples (2 person stay and using downstairs only, I will deduct $40 of the cleaning fee).
Additional guests are $15 per night per person. Maximum 6 adults, 2 children under 12
FIRST MONDAY RATES ARE HIGHER.

House exceeded expectations! Host was incredibly accommodating and had all the small things on hand that we forgot to bring (sugar for instance), and had a good variety of quality kitchen supplies. Home comfortably slept all 7 of our guests. We really enjoyed the quiet country setting and the fresh flowers put out was a nice touch!

Girls’ Getaway

We had an amazing stay at Pleasant Place Getaway. Two of my lifelong friends and I had a 3 day stay, and we all hated to leave. The location was perfect, close to shopping, but totally private in a rural location. There are plenty places to shop even when it’s not First Monday. Kerry was an excellent host. The house was so clean and the beds were comfortable. We each had our own room, and the two baths were very nice. Would definitely stay there again. Sue C.

Fantastic stay

This home and its setting out in the country offered us the peaceful and serene setting we were looking for yet being close to town. We stayed a whole week and could not have enjoyed it more. Open concept kitchen/dining and living room was large and a great place for our family to gather. Beautiful bathroom with walk in shower. Kerry our host was the best. Communication was fantastic. You will not be disappointed if you choose this property to stay at. I would give this property 100 stars if I could. Thank you Kerry. We enjoyed your home so much.

Canton Girls trip!

Kerry was super helpful from the moment we booked the property. She responds quickly to questions, and all the information was sent early the morning we were to check in so we didn't have to wait for anything. The property is beautiful. It has a lovely wrap around porch that we spent a lot of time on. It has everything you need to have a nice relaxing time. Kerry was a great host.

Shopping weekend with daughter and granddaughters made even more special with this dreamy home. Most well stocked short term rental I've ever been in. Super homey and comfy just like staying at grandmas. Amazing communication with hosts before and during the stay. Looking forward to the next stay!

Peaceful retreat

Such a wonderful peaceful place to enjoy our sibling retreat. Plenty of room with open floor plan. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels and shampoo. Our third time staying and hope to stay again. Great communication with host.

Wonderful experience

My 2 nieces and I went to the First Monday Markets the first so in October. We stayed at this wonderful place for 2 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. It’s out in the country away from hustle and bustle. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed

perfect spot for Trade Days

one bedroom is upstairs just FYI. very secluded and cozy spot just 5-10 minutes from Trade Days. lots of restaurants and shopping within 5-10 min drive. we stay here often and love it. The owner Terry is lovely. THANK YOU! we will be back!

Peaceful Country Gem

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in the charming country A-frame style home overlooking lush meadows with cows grazing and a beautiful pond with shade trees. The home was fully stocked with everything we could need including a gas grill inside and out for cooking. We spent many nights sipping a lemonade on the porch listening to the katydids or under the shade of a tree in a porch swing. The property was lovely to walk on and we were only a short 10min ride to Canton or 30min to Athens. We'd stay here again. The home was so inviting and clean.

Simply put... heaven!

This place is a perfect oasis to get away from all the stress. The porch overlooking the pond helps the soul feel stress free. An amazing host, and the house was perfect. My city kids and dogs fell in love with the country, FINALLY. This place reminds me of what Texas is.. God's country. The cows loved taunting my corgi too! House has everything you need.
