The location is superb, ideal for easy walking in the town, breakfast facing Vesuvius and the bus and train station right next door. If you have a car, there's a reasonably priced car park (€10 per day for hotel guests) right behind it. We had a fantastic week at the hotel and really enjoyed the region.

**Great Hotel, but Too Far from Downtown** The hotel itself is great, with excellent facilities and service. However, its location is quite far from downtown, and taxis to and from the city can be very expensive. We later found out that the hotel offers a shuttle service to downtown after 4:30 p.m., which would have been very helpful. Unfortunately, no one informed us about this service upon our arrival. We only learned about it later during our stay. Overall, it is a great hotel, but better communication about the available shuttle service would have made our experience much more convenient.

We stayed here last year and wanted to re visit this year as staff service and room was comfortable. This year we booked a very long time in advance and were told we could have the same room, upon arrival we were told the room we had requested was no longer available… we couldn’t get parked and the room they gave us was a dreadful duplex with dangerous steps and it was in very poor condition and in desperate need of upgrades. Upon checking out we were not asked how was our stay and we knew because we didn’t arrive until 5pm the receptionist had clearly offered that room to someone else and they refused it and gave them our room!! We shall never ever stay here again and they treat repeat guests appallingly. Our advice… avoid this hotel there’s plenty that will offer you a lovely welcome and a polite goodbye and thank you for choosing them. Warning… entering and leaving property is very dangerous as it’s on a very busy road and on a bend
