Property: Located on the 4th floor of the Grande Rockies Resort.

Primary Bedroom: The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed, cozy fireplace, 2 walk-in closets, and an ensuite bathroom equipped with a shower and bathtub.

Bedroom 2: The 2nd bedroom on the main floor has two queen-sized beds and its own patio.

Bedroom 3: The 3rd bedroom has a king-sized bed.

Bedroom 4 (Den): The den has a double bunk bed.

Bathrooms: Each bedroom has access to the main floor bathroom with stand up shower and the primary has a personal ensuite bathroom (shower and bathtub).

Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen comes with all the cutlery, glasses, plates, cookware, and cooking utensils you will need to prepare your meals. Oil, salt and pepper are included. Please bring additional food items and beverages to make your meals, including .

Living Area: The living room boasts a 3-sided fireplace for a cozy ambiance while relaxing in the living room and dining areas.

Accessibility: While you can reach the 4th floor of the Resort by elevator, the penthouse is two stories, and stairs need to be used to reach all levels of the condo.

Parking: You can park in one of 2 heated secure underground parking stalls, and use the resorts luggage carts and the elevator to access the penthouse.

Self-check-in: This condo is fully set up for self-check-in and self-check-out. With our keypad door locks, you will be sent a door code within 48 hours of your arrival, along with directions and parking instructions.

Location: Everything this world-renowned destination has to offer is moments away! Your condo is only a few short steps from Canmore's Bow Valley Trail, with great restaurants and coffee shops. A short walk will bring you to Canmore's main street, with excellent shopping and dining options.
You can reach Highway 1 in a few minutes taking you West to the Banff National Park gates and the Banff townsite, or East to the awe-inspiring beauty of Kananaskis Country.

Resort: On the main floor of the Resort is a large common-use swimming pool with a kid-friendly splash area and waterslide. It also has a large hot tub, in case you want to warm up while your kids use the waterpark! In the building's lobby is the Grande Kitchen + Bar with lattes, mouth-watering pasta dishes and oven-fired pizza.

We suggest renting a car to drive around the Beautiful Canadian Rockies! You can also Bike 45 minutes to the town of Banff on the famous Banff Legacy Trail featuring breathtaking views, a covered picnic/rest area and finishing at the Banff town site.

We are a 10-minute walk to the Canmore Community Center and Elevation Place; Canmore's indoor playground featuring a great climbing gym, fitness facility, large swimming pool and hot tub, and the Canmore Library.

A short 15-20 minutes walk will bring you to Canmore's main street offering plenty of restaurants, cafes, shopping, and gear rental stores.

20 mins to Town of Banff
25 mins to Norquay Ski Hill
30 mins to Sunshine Village Ski Resort
45 mins to Lake Louise and Lake Louise Ski Resort

The Ski Bus to Sunshine and Lake Louise ski resorts is available during the winter season. The bus stop is within walking distance from the unit.

The Canmore Roam Bus Transit goes right by our place! Check the schedule on the Roam website.

Please note that hallway renovations are currently underway at Grand Rockies Resort:

Elevator 1 is under maintenance and Elevator 2 is reserved for contractors—please use Elevator 3 instead.

Construction crews are actively working on the 4th floor, with other floors following a set schedule.

Work hours are:

- Monday-Thursday: 7 AM–9 AM (quiet work), 9 AM–6 PM (regular work), 6 PM–8 PM (quiet work)
- Friday: 7 AM–9 AM (quiet work), 9 AM–3 PM (regular work)

We want to inform you that Grand Rockies Resort will be undergoing a hallway renovation project starting March 4th, 2025. The work will begin on the 4th floor and move downward, involving carpet and wall covering removal, drywall repairs, painting, and new finish installations.


While the contractors will do their best to minimize disruption, there may be some construction dust, noise, and limited elevator access at times. Elevators 2 and 3 are both now available for owners and guests. Work on Elevator 1 will be completed between Mon March 24 and Wed March 26. Update elevator 1 is now fully operational.


If your stay falls during this period, we appreciate your patience and understanding as these necessary improvements take place. Please be mindful of signage and construction zones during your visit.

Work hours are:

- Monday-Thursday: 7 AM–9 AM (quiet work), 9 AM–6 PM (regular work), 6 PM–8 PM (quiet work)

Wonderful property and great location

Great property for a wonderful experience in the Canadian Rockies. The property was nice, super clean, great views and walking distance to restaurants, bakeries and central Canmore. If you want to explore Banff, Lake Louis and less of a tourist town,this property in Canmore is perfect. The owners were also very helpful and great communicators.

Amazing get away in Banff/canmore area

This is an absolutely amazing condo. Well l-sized bedrooms and great common area to cook, eat and hang out. Having a private hot tub was a worthwhile feature.Host ms were very communicative and attentive. They even had a cleaning service come in mid-week to freshen the place up as we stayed a whole week. Can’t go wrong with this rental!

Such an amazing place!!

First time vrbo user!

As a first time vrbo user I was worried the property might not live up to the advertised pictures. I had reserved a unit through vrbo for 8 adults and 3 young children for Thanksgiving. Was I in for a pleasant surprise. Our Grand Rockies Resort unit was beautiful, spacious and so very comfortable. The views were incredible. Both using vrbo for rental properties, as well as using this Canmore rental unit again is something I plan to do again!
