Cozy Getaway for a Ski Trip

We had a great stay at this cozy and quiet condo The place was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed to feel at home. Canmore was the perfect location for our ski trip—just a short drive to the slopes. After a day on the mountain, it was great to come back to such a comfortable and relaxing space. We couldn’t have asked for a better home away from home for the week. Thank you.

Great causal stay

Overall the condo was a great location (close to downtown) and well maintained.Accessibility was challenging, especially since the elevators are currently down due to upgrades (March 2025). We were told about this as we were pulling into the property.We had one friend that had recently broken her ankle, so was unable to climb stairs (luckily this condo is first floor) but street parking is extremely busy and hard to get a spot. Underground parking is tricky too, as larger trucks had parked taking up multiple spots.. and then you have a 2 storey climb to the first floor. The condo was well looked after, with some wear and tear noted on walls and window blinds, but overall in good condition.Note: since this is on the 1st floor, you do not have any views.The living room furniture was ok, but was just sufficient for 3/4 people.. it’s a tight fit for 4, and definitely no more than 4.And a heads up that the park pass is not available as listed in the booking, budget in an additional 22 a day if you’re heading into Banff National.Overall the host was communicative when asked questions (booking link didn’t come through so had to request access, and inquired about the park pass)Check out requests were minimal, which was really nice (some hosts are very elaborate)Overall it would be a great location if you’re looking for a nice Simple place when in Canmore, but not as elaborate as some locations we’ve stayed in at similar price points.

Gorgeous Suite with Excellent Customer Service

This suite is very pretty and well maintained. It has everything you need plus a bunch of well thought out pleasant surprises. Loved the park pass inclusion too. Host(s) are responsive and helpful. The Solara in general is well located and quite a high end accommodation in comparison to other options in Canmore. We definitely left feeling pampered in luxury and very pleased. 100% would stay here again! PS - Those were the BEST bed sheets I have ever slept in!!

Nice property with all the amenities

This is a nice property with all the amenities needed. We had an issue with the air conditioner not working the first night, but the owner was quick to respond. The Parkade was difficult to locate. The address that is given is the actual unit you will be staying in. You need to drive around the opposite side of the building for access to the parking area.

Canmore VRBO

A very enjoyable week with family. Very comfortable for the four of us with the two bedrooms, two baths. We could have used some detailed instructions on the use of the Nest thermostat (couldn't adjust down for warm nights) some maps and recommendations for places to eat and activities. The oven smoked and set off the smoke alarm when we baked a pizza. The primary bathroom needs brighter lighting for older adults. Checkout mentioned signing the guestbook but we could not find the book. We were expecting a view of the mountains from the condo but there was none and felt a bit closed in. The primary bedroom had no tv. Parking was difficult on the street, but easy in underground level one. The beds were very comfortable. The screened in pouch was fine but had no table for drinks. All in all, the VRBO was nice but lacked some of the special additions that would have made it exceptional.

Lovely stay

Not quite as close to downtown as I hoped but certainly walkable for most. A/C really struggled to keep up, but very clean and well kept place. Kitchen lacked storage but I’d stay here again!

We LOVED this place! Quiet, clean, well stocked with everything you could need for a wonderful getaway in the mountains. We were pleased to find some books for little kids, lots of blankets and pillows so everyone got what they wanted and lots of space around the dining room for family meals. Underground parking is amazing, but it’s a bit confusing which building you are in, it would be nice if that was better specified in the details of the property. Over all it was amazing and we would definitely come back!
