Excellent house with tropical garden (more than 100 palm tree species). It has a private pool. There is a chill-out area with Jacuzzi and unobstructed views. The house appeared on the cover of Casa Viva, a home-decorating magazine. The property offers a lot of privacy. It is ideal for families with children.
It has an American billiard table and a table-football. You will also find a fully equipped kitchen. Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided on your arrival. The house has direct access to a public garden, ideal to walk.

Villa Las Palmeras Canet de Mar 2024

Wij verbleven hier 2 weken eind juli begin augustus 2024 met ons vieren. De pluspunten van deze villa: het zwembad, de jacuzzi op dakterras. Prachtige vergezichten. Goed uitgeruste keuken met alle apparatuur. Overal heel veel opbergruimte zowel hang als leg. In de kelder/benedenverdieping is er een voetbal en pooltafel. Er staan fietsen ter beschikking en er is een was hok met wasmachine en droger. Tevens heb je beschikking over een extra koelkast en vriezer. Ondanks dat het aan een straat ligt is het over het algemeen vrij rustig. De minpunten. De badkamer op de tweede verdieping dient nodig te worden gerenoveerd. Die wastafel kan echt niet meer. Het handeltje van het kraantje viel er na een paar dagen af. Kon er gelukkig na heel veel moeite wel weer aangeschroefd worden. Er is een spiegel maar dat is meer een soort smalle sierlijst. Als je staat te douchen wordt de wc nat vanwege de plaatsing. Er is maar 1 haakje om iets op te hangen. Er is geen wifi bereik op de tweede verdieping en ook niet bij het zwembad. Onze klasse D huurauto, een Peugeot 3008, paste niet in de garage. De voetbal en pool tafel staan in de weg en deze loodzware tafels zet je niet even aan de kant. Het ontbreken van een airco in de woonkamer was een gemis. Er zou iets beter kunnen worden schoongemaakt. Er lag nog stof en een sportsok van de vorige huurder onder het bed op de 2e. De douchekranen en randen waren vol kalkaanslag. Ondanks bovenstaande hebben wij een zeer prettig verblijf gehad.

Magnificent beach house

The view was spectacular, amazing swimming-pool, full serviced kitchen, comfortable beds and airconditioning, great and beautiful garden. The house is 10 minutes walk from the center and beach. Big garage, all facilities available. Communication with owner and service great! Just a perfect stay!

Tres belle villa avec vue

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cette villa parfaitement équipée. Le jardin est magnifique avec une jolie piscine et une belle vue sur la mer. Beaucoup d espace dans la maison. La mer n est pas trop loin et le trajet peut se faire à pied de même qu au centre de canet de mar. Les enfants ont apprécié aussi les petits cadeaux laisses pour eux. Merci !

Great neighborhood feel on the coast of Barcelona

The home comfortable fit our family of 6 with plenty of room. The host really cares for his property and you can tell when you stay. Also, the backyard area was wonderful since it was so hot outside it felt great to relax by the pool.

Perfect beach house

This is an amazing place. One of the most tranquil houses and pools we have rented. The house is just a short walk from a great beach that when we visited was not very crowded. The house itself is very well equipped with one of the best kitchens we have ever had at a rental. The view from the roof is one of the best in town.

Maison magnifique

Maison magnifique avec toutes les prestations pour passer de belles vacances. Beaucoup d'escalier donc pas très pratique avec des enfants en bas âgee et église qui sonne tous les matins donc tout le monde était réveillé à 8h tous les matins (elle sonne toutes les 15 minutes) . Pas possible d'aller à la plage à pied beaucoup de monter et de descente et centre ville pas très vivant. Sinon la maison en elle même est tes agréable, bien entretenue et propre.

Amazing space with wonderful hosts

We enjoyed our stay so much! The property is beautiful and has great amenities. The hosts are so kind and personable. The location was pretty great with ocean views and walkable to the little old city. And it was not far outside of Barcelona. We would absolutely recommend and stay again.

Great house, not clean

We arrived as scheduled. Checkin was fast and good. After a closer look we found out that the house was not really cleaned. At least one of the beds was not washed (hair, dirt), the kitchen drawers not clean, the sofa smelled bad, jacuzzi was only filled 1/3, etc. Carla the manager always responded very quickly and sent somebody to clean a few times. Still it took 2 visits of the cleaning person to make the house "ok". Many things are worn down and need a rehab. The house is for sale - maybe that's why there are no updates anymore. But when we booked the house it was advertised with 6 Bedrooms (2 with King) and 5 Bathrooms. In real: 1 bedroom (queen) on the 2nd floor with ensuite bathroom 1 bedroom (queen) on the 1st floor 4 connected rooms with 1 room as connecting room - all of them classified as "bedrooms" Each of them with single beds and the connecting room can not really be described a bedroom since it has a full glass wall/door: The other are "OK" for a kid but we would not describe them as a full bedroom. 2 bathrooms on the 1st floor. Only 1 with shower, 1 with a bath. In Total 2 full bedrooms, 3 very small bedrooms, 1 connecting room that can be used to sleep if you are a big group 3 bathrooms (5 were advertised) When we asked for a refund of 1 night because of the bad cleanliness and the wrong facts at time of booking we were blamed of damaging a few things - which was just a lie. So we ended up with a bad feeling about this vacation.

Spacious villa with great pool

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It's very comfortable, the pool and chillout area are excellent. We walked down into the town centre for groceries and dinner, finding many nice restaurants. While a car is advisable, if you just want to chill in one spot for a few days, this is a good place for it. The 2 double bedrooms are ace. We were 4 adults, and hoping to put one person on the futon sofa bed mentioned in the listing. Note that there isn't a futon, instead there are 3 single beds (in 3 rooms). Luckily 2 of us were short and fit and slept comfortably. But a consideration if you're a group of adults. Finally, kitchen is well equipped, with very good pots and pans. There's only 1 very small chopping board, something good to know if you plan on cooking a lot. We only made light lunches and ate out in the evening, so wasn't a problem for us.

Great villa with very nice pool area

We enjoyed our vacation a lot and even stayed longer than planned. We loved the architecture and decoration, there is a lot of light and enough space for two families. The outside eating area is also very nice with beautiful palm trees and the pool is great and also the whirlpool on the very nice rooftop terrasse. It is a quiet neighorbood and it is a 10min walk from the beautiful beach. Wifi is very good and you can park your car in the garage. Check in was easy and communication very good.

We loved this place

We had an amazing 8 days at this gorgeous villa. The pool was the main attraction for the 5 children in our party but the house was equally lovely. There were some very thoughtful touches like beach towels and a parasol being provided as well as a lot of kitchen equipment and supplies. The owners were very speedy to reply to us, flexible, and attentive in every way. Couldn’t recommend this holiday home any more!

Belle maison avec une vue splendide sur la méditerranée

Je viens de passer 3 semaines avec ma famille dans cette belle maison très agréable. Le quartier est très calme. La vue sur la mer superbe. Très bonne communication avec la propriétaire qui est très réactive en cas de problème. Une chose incroyable il n'y a pas de guêpe autour de la piscine pas de mouche dans la maison et pas de moustique le soir. Nous avons passé de très belles vacances

Hemos pasado unos dias muy relajados en la casa . La piscina expectacular tal y como sale en el anuncio. habitaciones fantasticas , estaciosas , baños super limpios y de diseño actual , cocina de ensueño como la que nos gustaria tener a todos en nuestra casa , toda clase de pequeños electrodomesticos. La propietaria estuvo en todo momento atenta a todo lo que pudieramos necesitar. Si tuviera otro aparato de aire acondicionado en el salon seria de 10.

Great house (and pool) in a small seaside village

We had an excellent break in this luxurious house, with lots of gadgets and a great pool. We were with 3 children and my parents and there was plenty of space in the house, with air conditioned bedrooms. Josep was a great host, with good communication and ensured we got a friendly arrival. The village is quite small and quiet, but we liked that. The property is up a steep hill which is great for views, but can be a hot walk back from the beach (10-15 minutes - depending on whether going up or downhill!). We found Canet de Mar to be a good base for exploring Barcelona and surrounding towns without being in the hussle (i'd recommend a car). Figueres is well worth a visit too for the Dali museum. Local beach was lovely, though doesn't have lots of facilities. The locals are really friendly, and tolerated our lack of Spanish. We had a great family holiday.

Wonderful stay at the Palm Villa!

The Palm Villa is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a Canet de Mar for a week, and Josep was a great host and communication with him was quick and easy. We were 5 adults and 3 children ages 2-5. Only concern with small children were lots of stairs and unfenced pool but it was okay in the end. Location is great, short walk to train station, restaurants, beach and supermarket. Uphill on the way back, which is good for burning those extra vacation calories haha! Pool area is beautiful with lots of lounge chairs, and towels were provided which was nice. Garage with parking for our rental was nice so we didn’t have to worry about scratch and dents with street parking. Villa has lots of windows with great views over the city and the kitchen had everything we needed as well. Would definitely recommend this property. Thanks again, it was a wonderful stay :)

A 10 mn de la plage et du centre de Canet de Mar à pied. Parfait avec les enfants. Vue magnifique maison agréable. Petit bémol les escaliers. Calme et reposant.

Absolutely fantastic villa and a great host!

We stayed in the villa in May 2018. Josep was really helpful in organising our stay. Great communication and even bought some essentials like milk eggs and bread before our arrival! The villa is exactly like the photos. It has everything you need. The pool is perfect for a family. We had 2 young children. The outdoor space is really good. Such a cool villa. Canet de Mar centre and the beach is a 10 minute walk downhill there and uphill on the way back. The train station is right by the beach and only 10 mins to Callella. There’s a great beach bar/restaurant at Canet called Kai Beach. We also found nice pizza takeaway called Torre Rossa near villa. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you Josep.
