Mtn View Townhome, Sleeps 8

Summary:

Three-level townhome in Candler, 8.7 miles from downtown Asheville. Three queen bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a garage, a gas fireplace, and a downstairs den with a 70-inch TV and a sleeper sofa for guests seven and eight. Mountain views off the back deck. Biltmore Estate, the Blue Ridge Parkway and the NC Arboretum are each a short drive. Guests mention three things over and over: clean, quiet, and the beds.



The Space:

UPSTAIRS: Primary bedroom with a queen bed and its own full bath. Two more bedrooms, each with a queen, sharing a full bath. Laundry room with a washer and dryer.



MAIN FLOOR: Living room with a gas fireplace and a flat-screen TV. Dining table seats 6. Full kitchen with a dishwasher, Keurig, pots, pans and the basics. Half bath. Back deck with seating and a mountain view. One-car garage.



DOWNSTAIRS: Den with a 70-inch TV and a full-size sleeper sofa, plus the third full bath. Good spot for the kids, or for the two people who stay up later than everyone else.



Also here: fast wifi (413 Mbps on a speed test), central heat and air, a desk to work from, a travel crib, a high chair, kids' dinnerware and board games.



Sleeps 8: six in the queen beds, two on the sleeper sofa.



Guest Access:

The whole townhome and the garage are yours. Self check-in with a smart lock; the code comes before arrival.

Getting Around:

Vehicle is best. Uber/Lyft can be scheduled in advance on their app. I can also share the info of a local lady who drives around town and leaves her business cards at some of our rentals.



Other Things to Note:

Parking: 3 vehicles total. The driveway is short and steep. One vehicle in the driveway, one in the garage, one on the street out front. Large SUVs and trucks should plan on the street.



Finding us: some map apps drop you at the dentist office behind the townhomes. Follow the directions we send at booking and come in from Monmouth Way.



No pets.



No smoking anywhere inside. A $300 ozone cleaning charge applies if this is broken.



Quiet hours 10 PM to 8 AM. Our neighbors live here full time.



Local rules require a signed rental agreement and ID verification. We use Happy Guest for this. It is a website, not an app, with no account to create, and it holds the house guide and our local recommendations.
