Very Enjoyable Stay
The condo is very neat, clean and comfortable. There were plenty of dishes, utensils, cups, and pots and pans. If you enjoy cooking there is no measuring cups and measuring spoons. There are no bedding changes but the washing machine works well and there is an outdoor clothesline. The air conditioning works well. The pool area near the condo is very nice with pool chairs and a sitting area with tables and chairs. However, the chairs are often all taken and often for the day. But the pool is clean and refreshing and we spent many afternoons there. The back yard is not what the pictures make it out to be. The furniture is in poor condition, the cushions were stained and there were two plastic tables with no chairs. On the plus side, the backyard is very quiet and relaxing. Puerto Morelos is divided by Hwy. 307, with the tourist area and main town on the East Side(Port Side) and the condo on the West Side (Colonial Side) It is approximately a 1 hour walk to the beach. A car makes it easy to get to Port Side, however there is public transportation that runs pass the condo and takes you Port Side costing 10 pesos. The Colonial side is a quaint Mexican village with plenty of butcher shops, fruit and vegetable shops, barbers, pharmacies and a variety of other typical stores in a small town. There are unlimited restaurants severing a wide variety of meals, all within an easy walking distance of the condo.
