Villa "Oaxaca" is less than twenty steps from the seaside walkway which runs alongside the spectacularly beautiful waters of the Mexican Caribbean. This villa has a very spacious interior (750 sq. ft.) with the bedroom opening into the courtyard/pool area.

Villas San Miguel are convenient to everything. The grocery store, medical services, restaurants,street cafes, grand iglesia plus shopping are all right there. The downtown square is where all the vibrant festivities of Mexican life occur. Music and art festivals ranging from opera to Caribbean jazz. It all goes on here.

The most popular beaches in Mexico are less than a five minute stroll away.

Perfect location!

This property was fantastic! We were able to walk everywhere. The room stayed nice and cool, and it was well equipped with everything we needed. They even cleaned halfway through our stay and left fresh towels.

Great for a family of 4

The property was really clean, kitchen had all the basics, and the property is an easy 10 minute walk to North Beach. Close to restaurants but away from the noise. Abdiel was great, helping us book snorkeling tours and a golf cart, making things ran smoothly. We would stay here again. Note that one of the fold out beds is pretty small, and worked well with our not-very-tall family, but it may feel a little cramped for 4 not-related adults. The space is lovely and spacious. In reality there is less light than in the pictures because one window is slightly above street level and the other faces directly to the pool, so you have no privacy if the curtains are open. That being said, there was enough light. Plenty of towels were provided, cleaning was more frequent than we've experienced in other airb&bs, and it was nice to use the pool at the end of the day, when it was still hot outside but we didn't want to go back to the beach.

Nice clean units walkable location to everything in the N end. Enjoyed the small pools also. A lot of street noise in this unit but others would be better. Enjoyed our stay!

Awesome place in prime location

We actually had four of the apartments as we had our adult kids and friends as well. We stay here every time we come to the island because the apartments are great, the staff is friendly and help with anything we need. View is also awesome. We love that it is within walking distance to North Beach and Hidalgo…but just far enough to have some solitude and quiet when you want it. Thanks!

beyond pleased

We couldn't be more pleased with this property. It's close to everything, beautiful inside and out, the pools are awesome, and the staff is accommodating. This was our 2nd time staying here (same room) and we will def be back. I have no desire to look anywhere else on the Island.

Charming Island Villa

Our stay at Villa San Miguel in Oaxaca was perfect for our family of four’s island vacation. When we arrived we realized that one of the sofa beds (futons) was not big enough for our teenager, and they swiftly traded it out for a larger one. The villa was equipped with everything you need for meal prep, coffee, etc. The grocery store was less than a block away. Abdiel arranged our golf cart and provided beach chairs. We basically had our own private pool right out our back door, as none of the other guests used it while we were there. Housekeeping cleaned our room and provided plenty of fresh towels and beach towels every other day. Gloria even carried a load of laundry to be cleaned for our family., which was above and beyond her call of duty. The shower head broke during our stay, and it was promptly repaired “no problem” The staff was very responsive and friendly. The location was wonderful, on the edge of town on the ocean with a great breeze. Highly recommend. My only suggestion is to bring your own games if you are a game family. One other item of note is that there is a large church and courtyard gathering place across the street. Some evenings there were activities that you could hear over the loud speaker. We found that endearing and enjoyed the local culture, but if you are an early to bed light sleeper, bring some ear plugs if you visit during a religious holiday!

Isla Mujeres Vacation

We found this property exactly as pictured. The staff supporting the property were friendly and responded to inquires quickly. We especially appreciated being away from the crowded north beach area and the lovely walkway along the ocean. Our favorite place to eat was just a few doors down, Sueño de Marfil.

Amazing for families

This was an absolutely fabulous location for two families (in different suites). We took carts to chedraui but then topped up easily at the super Aki right across the street. Sonny’s pizza was right there for the picky kids. It was perfect. Walking everywhere was easy. We rented our carts from the place literally right next door.

Perfect location!

Location, location, location! Villas San Miguel is the perfect place to stay. We walked everywhere with ease even to and from the ferry. The staff was very helpful and accommodating-helping us with all our needs from golf carts to vaccines. This was our first of many trips to Villas San Miguel!

Great place

My wife and I stumbled upon this place as we arrived a day early to Isla and our other accommodations were not ready so we stayed here. We enjoyed the Oaxaca room. Location is great as you have great views of the ocean two pool areas.and you can walk to town minutes away from the great shopping areas and many restaurants. We were very pleased with the quietnesses of being so close to town. We had the fortune of meeting other guests that are repeat customers and they all have stayed there due to the service respect and cleanliness of this property. Had I known this property was this great I would have stayed my entire trip here instead of the place I originally booked. One thing is for sure my next island trip I will be staying here, and recommend you do to!

Amazing!!!

Absolutely amazing! I had the best time staying at this villa. Walking distance from the ferry, food, beach, nightlife; EVERYTHING! Everything about this place was great, even the staff. I’ve already had 3 friends that I’ve recommended your place to as they were taken away by the location and the amenities. I will definitely book with you again during my next visit to Isla. Very pleasant

Close the hustle and bustle on the north side of the island while being in a quieter area. Had lovely sunrises and sunsets right on the ocean just outside of the property. Heard a bit of street noise at night but nothing too bad. The pools on the property were nice too. There is a mobile covid trailer a five min walk away which was easy.

Beautiful villa in a perfect location!

This property is exactly where you want it to be! So close to the downtown area but just far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. Cliff/ocean views just out the back door. Can’t beat it!

The property was private and I felt safe. Housekeeping came every other day and even did our dishes. Everything works as it should and it was very spacious. I would stay again and I will recommend to friends and family as well. The staff was amazing!
