Welcome to Hillside Loft Cabin just minutes from downtown Campton, KY! Hillside Loft is tucked away in the trees so you can feel secluded but stay near town. Relax and listen to the sounds of nature on the covered porch. Head over to the hot tub for a soak while gazing up at the stars. Hillside Loft Cabin is the perfect retreat for couples. If you would like to venture out of your cozy space, Natural Bridge State Park and the famous Nada Tunnel are only a 20-minute drive away.

- Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen (standard coffee maker, microwave, oven), hot tub, California king bed (new mattress as of August 2023), Direct TV, HVAC, washer/dryer, covered deck with outdoor furniture, charcoal grill and more!
- Sleeping Arrangements: Loft: California King Bed
- One full bathroom
- We provide fresh linens and towels. We also include essential starter packs to make your stay easier! (Starter packs include: 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 rolls of paper towels, 3 shampoos and conditioners, 3 bar soaps, 3 laundry pods, 3 trash bags, and 1 sponge.)
- Please note that a 4-wheel drive is strongly recommended. The cabin is located up a steep hill. Limited parking; vehicles exceeding 2 please park at the local park and ride and carpool to the cabin. Trailers prohibited.
- Prime Red River Gorge location - Close to hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, zip lines, sight-seeing, restaurants, and much more.
- Larger groups? This cabin is located on a private drive within walking distance of four other cabins; Hidden Chalet, Eclectic Hillside Cabin, Whispering Winds and Sunrise Cabin.

- No refunds are permitted due to weather. No exceptions. Winter weather (snow/ice) and flooding can occur in our area. You should be given the option to add Trip Insurance at booking check-out.

  • This is sky bridge. The most massive arch in Red River. it spans over a hundred feet and about 50 feet in the air. Probably the most famous arch in Red River, it has been seen in movies. Many astro-photographers flock here because of it's structure and clear skyline. If you get a chance, the trail is only .8 miles and very much worth it. You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

So we booked our HONEYMOON. Granted I know that the weather is not controllable, according to the host the above cabin wasn't assessable. We wasn't asked if we had 4wd or anything of that nature. So we stayed at a house, which had no privacy. Something that is obvious appreciated during a honeymoon. The hot tub area had ZERO privacy and the water was green with stuff floating in it. I messaged them. They send maintenance and then claimed it was the color of the side walls . If only I could post photos here. Not only was it dirty but the screen indicated the filter was well over due of being changed. They offered to move us at an up charge. We made the best of it just a huge bummer as this wasn't just a vacay this was a once in a lifetime event so somewhat disappointing. I can not say I would recommend this particular cabin leasing agency or whatever they are. The house was nice just absolutely not what we was wanting for our honeymoon. I'd like to add that the property manager or whoever I messaged was infact made aware this was our honeymoon

We enjoyed our stay! The driveway getting to the cabin is a little rough, but was able to make it in a front wheel drive Toyota.

Clean property. There was not a hair dryer and had to contact house keeping to get one despite it being present on the amenities list on the listing. The only blanket provided was the comforter on the bed. Limited laundry washing supplies. We were provided one wash pod. Overall we enjoyed our stay but felt it was lacking some amenities to make the stay more comfortable.

The cabin could have been cleaner. A lot of dead bees by the windows, cobwebs, spider webs. The bathtub should absolutely be replaced. Also, the road to the cabin is terrible. Deeply rutted and caused our car to bottom out. That should also be repaired. They were receptive to our complaints. That being said, the management folks were very helpful when my husband left his iPad behind. The housekeeper found it and then overnighted it to us. So that I really appreciated. The property just needs some attention to make it more desirable.

Nice Cabin *Motorcycles Beware of Driveway*

The property/cabin itself is nice and private, the bed is huge and very comfortable! Hot tub is nice although the lights didn't work. My biggest complaint is the driveway, it is horrible getting up the hill. There's a section of it where it seems like someone just dumped blacktop and didn't take the time to smooth it out, then covered it in gravel so it is VERY uneven. It's also very steep and my stock height Volvo was scraping on the way down. I wouldn't choose this cabin if you're on a motorcycle or lowered vehicle. Other than that it was fantastic and my partner & I had a wonderful weekend!

Our 30th Anniversary

Over all this was a good place to stay. The amenities were as advertised. The bed was comfortable. Although, it did get a little warn in the loft area, but that is to be expected. We only had a few "complaints" i guess you could say. More so just observations. The first thing i noticed is there was no lighting on the steps going up to the porch. It was very dark at night and very hard to see. Next, the inside of the cabin could use some updating. Not a huge deal. My biggest issue was the couch and chair were stained and sticky to the touch due to the type of material it was. The furniture definitely needs to be cleaned and/or covered at the very least. If not replaced. It is old and very broken in. The only other thing i could suggest is maybe an awning of some sort over the hot tub to keep things from dropping out of the trees. Other than that, the property is great. We did enjoy our stay though. We actually tried to stay an extra night, but it was already booked. I would probably go back. Thanks for having us.

Great getaway

This was a wonderful cabin. Its a great cabin for a couple to get away from the city. It is quiet and very peaceful. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was great to relax in. The temperature was already set perfectly for us. The only thing that we wished it had was wifi.

Ok to stay ..

Arrived to find HVAC problems. Fans were there and temperature was moderate. Cookware was burnt and not usable. Housekeeping was minimal and we had to rewash the sheets. There are no shelves in refrigerator. Road to cabin is very rough and would be difficult for a low profile car to navigate. Property management had HVAC repaired and heat was on 2nd night. A bit rough around the edges. Just ok to stay there.

Cabin rental

The cabin was just as pictured and it was great! Of note a few items that would have been helpful to know: the drive up to the house is very steep and there is a big pot hole in the middle of the road so my little civic was battling, there were no extra blankets on the property other than the ones on the bed which would have been fine if we came in June but we came in January and the thermostat couldn’t get above 67 and there was a draft along with a window being left open prior to arrival. Also, if you go bring your own coffee for the coffee pot as I was surprised to see no coffee either. Otherwise the place was gorgeous l, affordable, and we loved the hot tub!

Excellent experience!!

The place was clean and cute, and I even asked for roses to be put our since it was our honeymoon. They were so kind and did so, and even added a few other things to spice it up! They went above and beyond what I'd expect of a host. Thank you for an incredible stay!
