"Very clean and nice hotel. Would stay again"

"Not sure why the average Expedia review was 9/10. The hotel was ok. The floor in our room had 3 wet spots on the floor when we checked in (we didn’t bother telling the front desk). Otherwise the room was fine and clean, but dated and worn. Breakfast was a basic continental breakfast as indicated by hotel, and was as expected and satisfactory. The breakfast room was cute and fit the historic vibe with of the hotel lobby and building."

"This hotel was beautiful, from the second we arrived which was late at night to the lady who was putting out the breakfast the next morning everything was absolutely amazing. The rooms which had a connecting door was so clean and tidy. We had wifi and air conditioning which was great as it was so hot."

"We booked this hotel because it has an outdoor pool. When we got there, front desk person said pool was open until 9pm. When we went to try to use the pool, gate was locked. We went to check with the front desk and another receptionist said pool is closed and will not open at all during our stay. I would not have booked this hotel had I known pool was closed."

"Wonderful property. Location is great. Staff is friendly, professional and thorough. The bar is so welcoming that we felt right at home. Will definitely be back."

"Everything was was clean and tidy as you would expect, the staff were always very helpful and accommodating, our room was pretty good for layout and overall decor, the bed was comfortable, use of on site washing machines and tumble dryers was good at $1.50 for a cycle with $10 rolls of quarters available at the reception, I couldn't complain at anything really, especially not for the price we paid."

"The area was okay. The property not maintained under previous management team. The pool was closed during July 4th. Our reservation was booked showing pool availability. No notified us. One grill was working and thank God we had our own grilling tools. The backdoor to parking your car doesn't work, look under the door is rotten with holes for everything to enter in the building. Front desk will not tell you the door key doesn't work. The microwave not working, the room not prepared properly the...

"They have the HVAC cooling in the room programmed to shut off with motion sensors and also in middle of the night. Terrible HVAC do not stay here. I call to get help but all programmed in the T-stats by corp and nothing they can. Find a different hotel"

"The only thing was you are not allowed to have alcohol and you have to be quiet after 9."

"This is okay if you need a last minute place to stay for a night. Room was clean but had a weird smell. Bed was uncomfortable for my man (side sleeper)but I slept well. 30 minutes from BelMawr and Point Pleasant Beaches. The owner was very helpful and attentive to our needs once we arrived. Parking for truckers and a grill area with seating. Great location with stores to grab things you may need. Walmart, Target, Dollar Tree and much more. We would stay again if we NEEDED to.
