"The cottages are great! Have everything you need to escape the city. We aren't big on fishing, but if you are, this place would be amazing for you. Fishing boats + an area for cleaning fish is available. The pool is great! The water is a little chilly, but a great reprieve on a hot day. The only negative is if you have a dog with you, there arent a ton of places to walk them that aren't just around other people's properties or a short drive away. "Communication was top notch from the moment we booked. Welcome pamphlet with info on things like the hot tub and tv/cable use and local stores/restaurants/emergency services was nice to have. The property manager also left us a nice little gift of a bottle of wine upon arrival which was a sweet touch. We were looking for a nice quiet weekend away and this was the perfect place for it!"
