Unhygienic & a total scam!
Do NOT rent from this man! The home was disgustingly dirty and he turned out to be a complete scammer! I have NEVER had to write a negative rental review until now. This experience was so shockingly horrible that I had to speak up. In the bathrooms, hairs were pushed into very dirty corners, there were ratty stained towels, soap dispensers filled w/ water & worst - dirty beds. Upon arriving we were notified there was a cat that comes into the house (?!). Well that cat sleeps IN the beds bc our beds were FILLED with cat hair and one with KITTY LITTER! My husband and 2 yo have cat allergies and when we messaged James about our concern he casually said the cat may have slept there but they were “clean” 😳. We provided photographic evidence to the contrary. There was only 1 change of sheets. My husband struggled all night with itchy hives that even bled. Not informing people of serious allergens at time of booking is extremely HAZARDOUS and at best, selfishly negligent. We have reported him.
The price listed is a scam as he charges for each person over 2 or 3 ppl for a 4BDR! My daughter’s safety was also at risk as there was broken glass, large splintered plywood and “toy” switch blades in the toy box.
After cleaning and kid-proofing the home, & cleaning the yard filled with rotten fruit, we politely asked for a partial refund and refund of cleaning fee -a refund of 1 night was offered w/ a lack of empathy and denial of blatant facts. RENTER BEWARE!
