Apartamento privado de 1 dormitorio en el hermoso valle de Tamar

Nuestro apartamento es bueno para parejas y personas que viajan solas. Unido a nuestra casa, este es un bijou pero el espacio muy cómodo y moderno, con entrada privada y patio con jardín. Estamos situados en un pueblo en el valle de Tamar, que está en la frontera entre Devon y Cornwall. Tiene fácil acceso a todas las áreas del suroeste, y en particular a los parques de Dartmoor y Bodmin, la ciudad de Plymouth y la ciudad comercial de Tavistock. Es un área ideal para explorar o simplemente para relajarse.
(PD: Tenga en cuenta que hay algunas carreteras estrechas que conducen a nuestro pueblo !!)

Metherell inferior es un pequeño pueblo amigable con un pub campo del siglo 15 a sólo 5 minutos a pie de nuestra casa. Otros bares, una tienda del pueblo y la iglesia medieval están cerca de Harrowbarrow y San Dominick.

NB: Tenga en cuenta que hay caminos rurales estrechos que conducen hacia y desde nuestro pueblo.

Si te apetece dejar el coche detrás de la línea de ferrocarril Tamar Valley es una ruta escénica entre Plymouth y Gunnislake, (a menos de 3 millas de nuestra casa). También hay autobuses locales que operan entre los diversos pueblos a Tavistock.

My two nights here

Clean and friendly host. I may have left a carrier bag with some food related stuff in it and would like to ask the host exactly what is in the bag - I don’t think there is anything worth having back.

Great place to stay

The small aparentment type house was wonderful to stay in and felt very homley, the sceary around the house too was gorgeous, plus the property manager had a cat which is just bonus points would rate 10 stars if possible for the cat alone. The property manager was also very kind and spoke clearly. Both my partner and i very much enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.

Fabulous

We found this accommodation very comfortable, home from home, and could not want for anything. The bed was really comfortable. Amanda is a great host. We even had fresh eggs from the chickens. Would definitely go again.

Nice quiet central location to explore the Cornwall and Devon.

Our hosts provided a nice little apartment where we could come and go and not disturb anyone. We had all the amenities that we needed for preparing meals. Truth be told that was only breakfast as we were able to try all the local pubs for the evening meals. If you spend the evening in the Carpenter's Arms it is literally a two minute walk and you can fall into a nice comfortable bed. Our hosts were just as nice as the accommodations. Always happy to answer any questions, or just have a chat.

Private annexe

The property was ideal for the two of us and was nice and private and well screened from other houses in the close. The host was in good communication with us before our visit and was friendly and welcoming in person. The annexe was very clean and well equipped and the host left out some goodies for us on our arrival which were greatly appreciated.

Everything you need

This place is clean and modern. Host is very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Lots of places to go and visit from this property. Host leaves lots of info of places to visit and eat. Loads of places to visit via walking or by car. If you are a member of the national trust this is the place to stay. Pub is round the corner. This is a great place to stay. Highly recommend.

Lovely comfortable accommodation.

This accommodation was ideal for us. It was in a small village with the local pub where we met friends about 200 yds away. We drive a VW Tiguan and didn’t find any problem with the lanes but were used to them in Devon! Large walk in shower was ideal for my husband who has mobility problems. Comfy bed and good view of the chickens but not disturbed by them. Weather wasn’t fine but it will be lovely to sit out in the garden when the sun shines. Owners were friendly and helpful and the cottage well equipped.

Most well equipped kitchen I've stayed at for self-catering. Warm welcome. Quiet and restful. Great walks starting from front door. Cosy atmospheric pub within couple of minutes walk.

Ideal location

A very pleasant stay at this property ideally situated for visiting areas of devon and corwall. Th hosr Amanda was helpful with a lot of info regsrding local restaurants which we can also recommend, especially the rifle volunteer where we had excellent meals.

This self contained apartment was ideal for allowing us to travel around the area, which I know well. We were able to visit Tavistock.. my former home, Dartmoor, Cotehele and Plymouth with ease. We had all the cooking utensils and crockery etc needed to cater for ourselves and the host provided us with some eggs from her hens. We had a small garden to enjoy when we weren't out exploring The bedroom was rather small but we really only needed it for sleeping so it didn't present a problem. I would definitely recommend this apartment to others, but would warn that it is down rather narrow roads!

Cozy Accommodation

We had a very good 6-night stay in this cosy apartment attached to the owner's home. Amanda is a thoughtful and accommodating host.. Very good response rate. Had some nice touches in the apartment incuding a well-stocked kitchen where we cooked many meals. Bed was very comfy and the bathroom including the shower are a very nice size. This apartment is located in a quiet village and we heard absolutely no noise from Amanda's home. We would stay again if in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay in Lower Metherell. The apartment was quiet, clean, and comfortable and Amanda was a very responsive and helpful host. We were able to go straight from the house for several walks in the area. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in the area.

Lovely property, perfect for a quiet weekend away.

Amanda was a lovely host, and very friendly, the property has everything we needed for our weekend stay, and is well kept and tidy. It is a very cosy size but still has enough space for it to be comfortable. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

This place was fantastic to stay in. The host (Amanda) was excellent. The property was immaculate with everything you needed for a truly comfortable holiday. I loved it. Amanda met us on arrival showed us the property and even though it’s an annexe of her house we never saw her our whole stay. The one bedroom property feels very independent from the main house. We had only one communication with Amanda the whole time and even though she was next door she sent an email! She truly gets the reason people book this type of place. The only negative and it’s a small one. There is a couple of narrow lanes to negotiate to get to the place which at first is a big daunting but you get used to it.

Nice quiet location, ideal for sightseeing Cornwall and Devon

Great place to getaway. Kitchen that has all you need to make a meal. Nice outdoor place to sit privately. Amanda was helpful but let us come and go. Separate buildings, so it works well.Nice friendly pub on the doorstep. Country walk to Calstock, where you can hire a boat and a fantastic boat. 40 minutes to the heart of Dartmoor and Bude in Cornwall.

Loved it!

It was just what I wanted to get away from it all. Amanda was friendly and helpful on arrival and then left me to enjoy my stay. Walked to Cotthele Quay on first day, which was beautiful in the heat. Then drove to Bude the next day to spend the day on the beach. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. The bed was perfect!

Half Term Break

A really lovely property that is exactly as stated on the website. Amanda is very kind and helpful both before you arrive and when you pick up/drop off the keys. Beautifully clean, well equipped, comfortable accommodation. Bathroom was immaculate and bed was comfortable. Would certainly recommend and would be more than happy to stay again.
