"This is a fantastic property. The location is perfect and New Ross has some interesting sites and great restaurants. This property was very comfortable and extremely well maintained. The bedrooms were perfect and the bathrooms excellent. The owner’s agent was welcoming and even had sconces and tea for us. Overall this property is a 10+. We’ll return and recommend to family and friends!!"

"The host provided basics upon our arrival, such as fresh eggs, bread, milk and fruit. She then shared fresh lettuce with us for our first dinner at the property. We did day trips and then relaxed at the property on the patio and had BBQ dinners. Lovely setting!"

The host, Daniel, was simply a delight to meet and chat with, and gave us some really good recommendations for site-seeing which we were able to use further into our trip. "The place was clean and warm at night. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals during our stay. We had a small issue with a sink and the owners quickly dealt with it and it did not affect our stay. The site says you are in New Ross but you are actually 15 minutes south. This made it a nice location to go to Kilkenny in an hour, Waterford in 35 minutes, and Kilmore Quay in about 40 mintes. We even made the Rock of Cashel in a little over an hour. "This was a very lovely house, however there was an oil leak with a VERY STRONG ODOR !! This odor gave me a headache. The owner was aware of this problem because her son came over shortly after we arrived, said that they would get someone out to repair it but after 4 nights it was not repaired.. The electric tea kettle had so much red liquid sediment in it I was afraid to use it .. The liquid hand soap dispenser was almost empty in the bathroom. No extra toilet paper was provided."

"This was our first trip to Ireland and we chose the Granary as a home base as we visited many different sites. It is a great location for day trips to Kilkenny, Cliffs of Moher, Waterford, Cahir, Rock of Cashel, Cork and Dublin. Bee is a wonderful host! She met us when we arrived and showed us around. The home is very clean, well appointed and quiet. Upon leaving we didn’t have to worry about any chores which was wonderful! Highly recommend!"
