Summary:
Hidden amongst soaring trees, this private wine ranch is the ideal Californian getaway. Sunsets over the undulating landscape create a striking backdrop to al fresco meals. A lengthy swimming pool entices you in to swim a few leisurely laps or simply float beneath the stars. Play a match on the tennis court before soothing any stress away in the hot tub. This amazing house in Calistoga was a fabulous spot for our family getaway weekend. We had ages 2-62 and everyone found something they loved from the tennis court to the pool to the comfortable settings inside and outside on the 2 patios!! The kitchen and dining table were beautifully equipped for our family meals. And the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Napa valley!!

Great couples retreat

Six couples stayed in the house extremely comfortably. The pool area was fantastic. We enjoyed utilizing the tennis and Pickleball courts and it was conveniently located close to the wineries we wanted to visit. Highly recommend the property and the owners.

The property is HUGE and everything is so well kept. The landscape is stunning with lots of wildlife and is tranquil with no neighbors in site. The house is well equipped with a fancy built in coffee maker and all cooking and entertaining supplies you need. Would stay again 100% and recommend highly to others

Family gathering

Property was great, perfect for a large gathering. Some maintenance issues and listing issues kept this from being a five star review, but I am sure that they will all be resolved. Well equipped kitchen. Maybe a croquet set and workout equipment would take it over the top!

calistoga getaway

beautiful home and property but needs some maintenance to repair some minor issues. we were told there was a large party the week prior and the damage we we experienced was caused then. the management company was very responsive and dealt with the most impactful issues in a timely manner. note, there is no ping pong table in the house, even though it is listed as an amenity. overall we had a great time, enjoyed the property and would definitely rent again.

Such a beautiful property in a tranquil setting, Everyone had their own bed and bathroom. We stayed in and cooked. The kitchen had everything we needed. Mad for such a fun team event.

Beautiful House, Challenging Location and Questionable Charges

This was a beautiful house for a large group to spread out and enjoy their mornings and evenings while visiting the Napa/Sonoma region. Beautifully decorated, very comfortable and super helpful housekeepers that helped us with an emergency ride into town. The three reasons I did not give the property 5 stars - we were falsely accused of breaking a remote control and charged $700 (the remote worked when we were there, hot tub didn't but that wasn't taken into consideration), the location makes it difficult to get around without your own car as there are literally no Uber drivers, and finally, there was no cellular service.

Incredible Trip

We had a group of 6 couples. Our trip to Wine Country was incredible, the Ranch at Mayastoga was the perfect place to rest and recharge for our days out at the winery. We utilized the conceirge service and had a chef prepare dinner once evening. The grounds were beautiful, clean and all amenities were top notch. We will definitely recommend the property and be back! Arthur communicated quickly with us from booking through our departure.

Family getaway in Wine Country

Wonderful house n a beautiful setting. Close to Calistoga but surrounded by natural beauty. Manager, Arthur, is nearby and very helpful. The house is extremely well appointed. Six bedrooms and six bathrooms with spacious common areas, inside and out. Pool and lawns invite outdoor recreation. I will return.

Tremendous property. Tremendous Service.

Our stay at Mayastoga Ranch was superb. There were 6 couples and we had a blast. The home and property could not have been better suited for us. Great bedrooms, great living space, terrific kitchen and ideal outdoor space. Arthur was super responsive (especially during fire threats) and a great host. We will return to this property for sure.

Five star property, five star host.

This is a 5 star property - one of the best we've experienced. From the very well appointed kitchen, to the comfortable bedding, to the well maintained grounds we can't find any fault with our stay. The home is perfect for entertaining a large group with plenty of open spaces for gathering and smaller nooks to get away from the group and relax. Arthur was a very responsive and accommodating host. We felt like honored guests. I highly recommend Heidi West catering for a delicious catered meal. Safeway delivered groceries upon our arrival - a great way to stock the home without having to shop.

Couples get away in Napa

The property sits on a remote hillside piece of land in one of the many valleys of Calistoga. While remote, easy access to all parts of central and northern Napa valley. Hose layout was perfect for couples or a few families with three bedrooms on each of two wings that were joined by the kitchen, and family room. Decorate nicely, very clean, and the property manager was in constant contact to ensure our satsifcation. The online listing did not overstate any item, infact we found it better than the listing. If you are looking for a great spot in norhtern Napa Valley, you can't go worng with this one.

Awesome place!

Excellent house! Loved the pool and the amount of open space to socialize. Each room having it's own bathroom works very well for a big group. Having a house with a lot of the basics stocked was very convenient (no need to run to the store for coffee filters or ketchup). Definitely recommend.

Amazing Calistoga Home with 6 bedrooms-pool, vistas, amenities and location. This house has it all!

Wow! Location-well located in Calistoga-very convenient to all that Calistoga has to offer but such a private, serene setting with stunning vistas. The home itself has a great set up and amenities. Lots of bedrooms and baths. Huge dining table both indoors and out which is wonderful for large gatherings. Many places to gather both indoors and out but also small sitting areas if you'd like a bit of away time from other guests. Kitchen is awesome and has everything you need. The pool is incredible-large enough for kids to play, wonderful spa at one end and my favorite a huge ledge on the other with in pool ledge loungers. Plenty of outdoor seating and shaded patio areas plus all the umbrellas you need for extra shade in and around pool. For evening 2 separate areas with fire tables and outdoor heaters if needed. The communication and responsiveness of owner at all stages was outstanding. Rosa for housekeeping was also an A+. The one challenge for the house is no cell service and limited Wifi-just be prepared to use e-mail and text and if you need to call use the landline. With 12 guest with multiple devices we needed to manage how many devices were on Wifi but was definitely workable and makes you really think about the need to connect endlessly versus being very present with your family and guests. This experience was an A+ and I hope to return!

Amazing

Wow, what a great place for a wine country getaway. The property is even better than the pictures show! Arthur and his team (you get a concierge to help with planning) were fantastic. He met us at the house with a nice bottle of wine and went thru how to operate everything in the house. The setting is beautiful- in the hills above Calistoga, we saw herds of deer, wild turkeys, and jack rabbits, not to mention hawks, and vultures.Arthur even shared with us the local Cab he is making down the road..... I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing high end getaway.
