Cons: * Lack of Hospitality: For a 5-star property where we booked a premium room, the service fell far short of expectations. "The room had a spectacular view of the sea, uninterrupted and it was was very comfortable, and immaculate. The host, Jorge was very warm and welcoming too. He was extremely helpful and responsive with all the requests we asked for. Altogether, an amazing place to be in at Calheta."

"Lovely accommodations, delicious food, and super helpful staff. One thing to note, if you are through hiking - make sure to check with reception what time the latest check-in time is beforehand, as they don't have 24/hr reception."

"Great stay and right at start of PR19 trail..2300 steps down to ocean. Only challenge was parking..but it was available with a 8min walk."
