Acreage house with a cottage feel. The Cottage is fully equipped to handle 7 guests Beautiful views of the bow valley. Laundry facilities.Spencer's Creek just below. Lake is 3KM down the road. Close to Banff, Canmore, Cochrane, Calgary, Lake Louise, hiking trails. Banff National Park, Kananaskis, Yamnuska Wolf Dog Sanctuary. 13 KM west of cochrane on HWY 1A. West of Cochrane. Close to amenities .

We loved our stay at the Ghost Country Cottage. The cottage was beautifully decorated, the house was clean, and the surrounding scenery was beautiful. We would love to stay again!

We had a great stay! The beds were super comfortable and communication with the owner was quick and helpful. Although we were there in the heatwave and there is no A/C, the provided fans and cool night breeze made it comfortable. The close by convenience store was an added bonus.

Loved our stay. Property was clean and inviting. Very well stocked kitchen. Super convenient to have the gas station/convenience store just a few steps away. Would definitely stay here again.

We were quests for 3 nights. The property is conveniently located 20 minutes west of Cochrane, just off the 2A highway. The property is private, very well maintained, and very nicely appointed. Our host, Mike, was very responsive to our 1 inquiry. He explained what was happening with the situation we were experiencing and was very much on top of things. I would not hesitate to rent this property again or to recommend it to others. Thanks, Mike, we had a great stay.

This was such a beautifully decorated and private cabin - perfect for a weekend getaway! We loved it so much and can’t wait to be back

The property itself is breath taking. Even though there is construction equipment around the house the view of the forest is more than enough to make up for it. It is quite secluded and we never had any problems with noises of cars passing by. There was a little problem with tiny spiders getting in the house, but that was only because the door does not close easily. The owner himself is not great at replying to questions, but the lady that gave us the key, and the lady that was getting the place ready for us were quite helpful and knowledgeable. The amenities are very nice, and guests are provided with ample towels, cutlery, and satellite TV. Overall this is a great place that I would recommend to those looking for a weekend getaway, or those looking for a longer vacation.
