Camping Bonavista is ideally located in Calella on the Costa de Barcelona, just a short walk from the fine sandy beach and the azure-blue Mediterranean Sea. The campground is the perfect base for enjoying the lively Catalan coast while also spending a relaxing vacation. At the heart of the campground, an inviting pool area with a separate children’s pool invites you to relax and cool off. Additional amenities include a coin-operated washing machine and Wi-Fi. Families particularly appreciate the relaxed atmosphere and the proximity to downtown Calella, which offers a wide variety of shopping and entertainment options.
The Happy Premium accommodation can accommodate up to 6 people. The mobile home consists of a master bedroom with a double bed (190 cm x 140 cm) and two children’s bedrooms, each with two single beds (190 cm x 70 cm). All bedroom windows are equipped with mosquito nets. The well-equipped kitchen is located in the living area and features a 4-burner gas stove, dishes, silverware, and pots and pans, as well as a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. The bathroom has a shower, sink, and toilet. The partially covered wooden deck, furnished with a table, chairs, and two lounge chairs, is perfect for relaxing while the children play on the playground or by the pool. Note: If you need more than one accommodation, this is usually possible with us, as we have several properties of the same style.
ARRIVAL DATE + LENGTH OF STAY
Please refer to the calendar for the arrival and departure dates as well as the minimum length of stay during your desired season. Note: If, for any reason, you are unable to arrive on the scheduled arrival date, you may, of course, check in the following day (please notify us before arrival). The same applies if you wish to depart early; in this case, you may also check out the day before. However, the rental period and price specified at the time of booking remain unchanged.
BEACH
Directly below the campground, just a 10-minute walk down a flight of stairs or through an underpass, lies the picturesque Cala Roca Grossa. Lined with impressive cliffs and pine trees, this cove features coarse sand and gravel and, thanks to its crystal-clear water, is ideal for snorkeling. Those who prefer a more spacious beach can reach the wide sandy beach Platja del Garbí in about 20 minutes on foot. This fine-sand beach is known for its high water quality, offers comprehensive facilities including showers and lifeguards, and stands out for its diverse selection of beach bars and water sports options.
POOL
The resort features two pools for all ages: a swimming pool for adults and a safe wading pool for children. Comfortable lounge chairs surround the pools, inviting guests to relax—making this area the ideal alternative to the beach for enjoying hot days in a completely relaxed setting right on the campground.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY
The campground is the ideal place for a relaxing family vacation in Calella. The centerpiece for young and old alike is the pool area with a separate children’s pool, which offers plenty of space for splashing and playing. During peak season, a varied entertainment program provides additional fun. In addition, the nearby beaches are conveniently accessible in just a few minutes on foot, guaranteeing a short walk to the water. The campground’s proximity to Calella’s town center, with its diverse shopping and entertainment options, also offers plenty of variety. A crib and high chair can be rented if needed (please reserve when booking).

On-site, you’ll find a wide range of options for an active vacation. On the property, guests can enjoy sports on the soccer and basketball courts or at the table tennis tables, while the children let off steam at the playground.

In Calella, just a short walk away, you’ll find numerous supermarkets and a wide variety of shopping options for your daily needs.
MEALS
The accommodation features a well-equipped kitchen. Shopping options are also nearby. If you’d like to treat yourself to a meal without leaving the campground, we recommend the restaurant located right on the campground.
PETS
Pets are NOT allowed.
SPECIAL INFORMATION
Final cleaning must be performed by the renter. Cleaning supplies such as brooms, mops, etc., are provided. The accommodations are inspected after checkout to ensure cleanliness. Any complaints will result in a charge of 50 euros. High chairs and travel cribs must be requested at the time of booking or reported no later than 1 week before arrival (later requests cannot be guaranteed).

The resort is located in the coastal town of Calella on the Costa de Barcelona, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. The resort is approximately 55 kilometers northeast of Barcelona and can be reached from Barcelona-El Prat Airport in about one hour.

Camping Bonavista is ideally situated on the Costa de Barcelona, a region known for its golden sandy beaches, the azure Mediterranean Sea, and its cultural diversity. This coastline offers the perfect blend of relaxing days at the beach and exciting exploration. Just about an hour away, the Catalan capital of Barcelona beckons with world-famous landmarks such as Gaudí’s Sagrada Família, Park Güell, and the lively promenade La Rambla. Right on your doorstep, the town of Calella offers Mediterranean charm with its lighthouse (Far de Calella), the historic signal towers “Las Torretas,” and the cozy old town. In addition, Parc Dalmau, a green oasis right in the center, is ideal for leisurely walks in the shade of old pine trees. The experience is rounded out by boat trips that regularly sail along the coast to the picturesque coves of the Costa Brava or to neighboring towns such as Blanes and Tossa de Mar, with its impressive seaside castle.
