Location is beautiful and convenient. Directions to find the complex were missing key information (the name posted on the outside of the complex) that could have prevented us driving around an extra half hour. Cleaning crew was still working when we arrived after check in time. Unit needs some maintenance and repair. We had issues with electrical outlets not working, a flickering bedroom lamp, a beeping carbon monoxide detector due to dead batteries, the main slider to the patio not sliding, plus there were holes and rips in the screens. Communication with management was virtually non existent after we checked in with messages not being responded to

Location of the condo was excellent!! Beautiful ocean views! Great restaurants walking distance. Condo could use a little updating but overall had everything we could need we had a great trip!

That view!!!!

This condo was perfect for our trip. The view is amazing and the unit had AC. What more could you want? The hill to get to the condo is no joke but we liked it, kept us healthy and helped us walk off all the drinks. The pool was also lovely, had a nice view, and was never crowded.

Gorgeous location but needs repairs

The location, balcony, and views are outstanding. It is spacious and has nice decor. However, the air conditioner was broken though they came and repaired it. The shower head was cracked and sprayed most of the water against the wall, and though I reported it and asked it to be repaired/replaced, nothing was done. There is no dishwasher or ice maker (or even ice cube trays) and the nonstick pans are badly damaged. The knives were all dull and the plated chipped. Fixing these small things would make this property more competitive with others like it.

Nice location, comfortable property

This is a very nice and clean unit with a wonderful location. The walk down to the beach is short but steep as many have mentioned. We would take morning walks to the beach and then also hang out at the very clean and welcoming pool. The air conditioning worked well all of the appliances were clean and functioning. The provided kitchen cooking and eating utensils were adequate and allowed us to cook a few meals. I had to work while here and the internet was strong and stable and made logging into work a breeze.The view of the beach and ocean was top notch and the waves sounded like they were 20 feet away. I would have no problem staying here again.

BEAUTIFUL UNIT & LOCATION

The unit was very clean when we arrived. It’s much more spacious than the photos lead you to believe. The views are incredible, especially the sun sets. Flamingo Beach is pristine. Rigo & Gustavo were a pleasure to deal with, amazing customer care from both of them. I would highly recommend this unit, it’s location, and the property managers. The grounds are immaculate, the pool lovely, bbq area was a great feature. All of the staff from maintenance to security were so friendly. My husband, two boys and myself had the best vacation at Oceanica. Pura Vida

Pros: relatively close to the beach if you are able to physically walk up and down the steep hill that leads to/from the beach. Great views. Cons: this unit needs some updating. The mattresses are very firm and uncomfortable with minimal foundation. The bed frames are of low quality and feel as if they are going to break. No dishwasher! Ran out of hygiene, cleaning products after a few days. Ice machine was broken and had to go to the store multiple times to purchase ice. The plumbing is in need of some work as the tubs/showers barely drain and the toilets needed plunging often. Could definitely use some paint! The cleaning crew did an average job as upon our arrival there were handprints all over sliding glass doors and the corners of the floor were unswept. 2/3 sliding doors do not lock (broken). The main door is extremely hard to open and close. Two screws protrude from the handle so you have to be careful not to cut/puncture yourself.

This property was exactly as described. Beautiful views and great town that was walking distance for restaurants and shops. Only suggestion would be improve the beds. Besides that, great stay with everything we needed.

Comfortable place with a beautiful view

The condo was spacious enough for our family. We did not realize there was not a dishwasher, but that was not a huge problem. The view of the beach is amazing, and the pool area is nice. It is within walking distance of the beach and shops, but there are 49 steep stairs to get to the street and back. Was not a problem for us, but if you have any health problems that make walking difficult, this would not be ideal for you. Loved the beach and the waves and plan to come back to CR!

Very nice location and a gorgeous flat with all commodities

We were very pleased as we went in by the cleanliness, the decorations of this flat. A lot of place, a beautiful ocean view and all commodities. Everything necessary for the stay was provided. Good location on a hill aside Flamingo beach which is in walking distance.

Great condo, great view!

The Oceanica condo was well appointed and very clean and safe. The condo has an excellent ocean view and is about a 10 minute walk (down a steep hill) to the beach. Rigo, the property manager was very responsive when we arrived. I highly recommend this condo.
