Dog-Friendly, Ocean View House w/ AC, Private Hot Tub, Shared Pool, Private W/D

  • Buxton's closest ocean view home is only 40 feet from the dune line and the best fishing, surfing, and swimming on Hatteras Island! Relax and watch the dolphins play and waves break from the ocean and lighthouse view decks. The first level has a half bath and a bedroom with two singles. The entry room has a double futon, a TV, and a fridge. You'll also have great parking, a carport, and a basketball hoop. The first level has four bedrooms (two mains with private baths, TV, and access to oceanside decks), three baths, and a laundry. The fourth bedroom has a TV and oceanside deck access and the fifth has a TV. Upstairs is a large great room with wood accents, a cathedral ceiling, beautiful furnishings, and a two-story window with views of the ocean. A fully-equipped kitchen, a breakfast bar, a dining area, and a half bath handle all your needs. Oak spiral stairs lead to the fourth level loft with breathtaking views. The warm oceanside south-facing decks with covered porch and hot tub have ample room. Get caught up in the Fishin' Friendzy!

    Things to know:
    You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.


    Please note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. The club is typically open Mid-May to Mid-October, depending on the weather.

This is a lovely, spacious home just steps from the beach! Superbly outfitted for large families and enough pots and pans for an army! Rainy day? No worries - tons of books to choose from and games for all ages. You will want to rebook every year - the owner's TLC really shows!

Absolutely lovely!

My family loved this house so much! So many bedrooms, and a lot of them with gorgeous views! The beach is so close, just a few steps from the house. It’s a short walk to the lighthouse as well. Close to restaurants and convenience stores. I would 100% recommend this house!

The house is actually closer to the beach than the pictures show so we were excited about that. Will definitely stay here again & would highly recommend this house.

Breathtaking Views

My family and friends have rented this property for atleast the last 8 years. We have the most relaxing time here and we have never had an issue. The kitchen is fully equipped plus some. We rent the same week each year and plan to rent for many more years to come.

Beautiful and babyproofed

I loved the ease of having a home with baby gates installed. We have an 18 month old and that was extremely helpful. The view was gorgeous. We were very happy with the home.

Fantastic Vacation

Everything about this home is a plus. From all the amenities to the proximity to the beach. The furnishings are beautiful and the kitchen is stocked with anything you could possibly need. Good location

Extended family of 8 + 1 dog enjoyed our visit. Certainly no shortage of utensils in the kitchen. In fact I think it would be better if they were pared down some. We liked it enough that we plan to rent it again.

The house was great

The house was great and we had everything we needed. However, there was 24/7 beach construction going on in front of the home which we were never notified of prior to our stay. The customer service from Vacasa was very disappointing. I would stay here again but would not rent through them.

Family Thanksgiving

The home is located with only one house between it and the ocean, with ocean views from most every window and deck entrances from three bedrooms and the main floor. The furniture is in great shape and the kitchen is very complete. We made Thanksgiving dinner and lacked nothing for tools, pans, glassware, etc. the game closet and book shelves are chuck full of possibilities in case of inclement weather. We will definitely consider a return stay at Fishin' Friendzy!
