"Wow. I did not realize I’d find such an elegant yet affordable hotel on Mindanao. Everything was perfect from the staf to the last minute accommodations for an unplanned additional guest to free airport shuttle service, right down to the added touch of our towels being folded into kissing swans. And all of this in a location that is smack in the middle of everything downtown. I have nothing negative to say. Only thanks for a great stay."

"Service was excellent.Very helpful when asking for amenities. Staff was super helpful and accommodating. The room was kept clean.most important was the water pressure and consistent warm to hot showers. Minor complaint was the need to ask for toilet paper as toilet paper was very thin and didn’t last long. But overall, rating was excellent for Watergate hotel in Butuan"
