"Little Nook", Cosy & homely house in Dunseverick very near to Giant's Causeway

Our warm and cosy home provides an ideal, well equipped base for a couple or a small family to explore the stunning Causeway Coast.

We have an open plan lounge/dining room with woodburning stove, 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. Our farmhouse style kitchen has an oak breakfast bar with stunning views of Dunseverick Bay & Rathlin Island. Amenities include fibre wifi and smart tv.

We are only 3 miles from the Giant's Causeway & Whitepark Bay, 5 miles from Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. Bus stop for Causeway Rambler service going past all main tourist attractions just 50 metres away, with buses every 30 minutes during the summer season. NITB Certified.

We think you will enjoy our house if you love the outdoors and "getting away from it all". The location is very rural, quiet and right on the coast - which means it can get windy and even stormy at times. If you love being by the sea, coastal walks and enjoying being out and about then this is a great base for a holiday on the Causeway Coast. Warm clothes and waterproofs are pretty essential for any time of the year as the weather on the North Coast can be changeable.

The nearest small town - Bushmills - is about 5 miles away and Ballycastle is about 9 miles away - both easily reachable by car or by the local bus service - and both have good coffee shops and restaurants.

If you enjoy nightlife, then you will likely want to travel further afield to Portrush which is about 20 minutes by car.

Sehr netter Kontakt (Caroline durften wir persönlich kennenlernen), vor der Anreise sehr ausführliches Informationsmaterial zum Haus und der Umgebung. Detaillierte Anreise-Beschreibung, flexibler Check-in mit Schlüsselbox. Das Haus und die Lage sind fantastisch. Küche zweckmäßig aber ausreichend ausgestattet. Blick über die Küste vom Küchentresen. Sehr hübscher Aussenbereich, gemütliche Einrichtung. Kaminofen und gute Dusche. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Lovely coastal retreat

Nothing was missed, everything you could possible need had been thought about, and the owners were so helpful and considerate, lovely people. The property was very clean, comfortable and well located, with fantastic views.

Magical

Cozy, private, clean, and warm cottage has everything we needed. All the amenities and details are extremely well considered. Comfortable bed, good wifi, pleasant shower, not to mention the views from every window. Direct access to the Ulster Way trail that takes you from one magical spot to the next in either direction.

Fantastic

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It is beautiful, clean, comfortable, warm, well equipped and very quiet. We loved the fantastic views. There is off road parking and a large garden. The house is in a perfect location for a walk to the causeway with stunning scenery along the way. The Ramblers bus stops 2 mins from the house. Caroline and Frank are very friendly hosts. They provided detailed and very useful directions and information about the house and the area. It was lovely to meet them one day.

Wonderful weeklong stay

Had a wonderful week long stay at the ‘Wee Nook’. Everything was spotless and the heat made it really cosy. Great view over to Rathlin when having breakfast. Bus stop outside was really useful and car rarely used. Looking forward to coming back to stay again

Picturesque Northern Ireland Stay

Absolutely stunning views out the back windows , very comfortable and homey feel to the cottage. Great communication and lots of greats tips and advice from the host it was lovely. Wunderschön

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen schönen Aufenthalt brauchen könnte. Die Lage ist großartig - schon allein durch den Blick aus dem Küchenfenster. Wir haben von hier aus tolle Wanderungen entlang der Küste unternommen. Dank der öffentlichen Busse kann man prima in eine Richtung laufen und unkompliziert mit den Bussen zurückfahren. Alle Informationen hatten wir von den freundlichen Gastgebern bekommen. Können wir rundum empfehlen.

Der perfekte Ort für Nordirland!

Wir hatten hier wundervolle Tage an der Nordküste von Dunseverick. Unsere Vermieter haben sich toll um uns gekümmert ohne Aufdringlich zu sein. Unsere Tochter hat Kartoffeln ernten dürfen, die wir dann Abends zum Abendessen gegessen haben. Wir haben viele Ausflüge von hier aus gemacht. Belfast, Derry, Ballycastle und natürlich der berühmte Küstenweg mit seinen wunderschönen Stränden. Es war an alles gedacht und zu Zufriedenheit unserer Teenies auch gutes W-Lan vorhanden 😉. Wenn wir Nordirland nochmal besuchen dann ganz sicher wieder in Dunseverick im "Little Nook"!

Litttle Nook, Dunsverick

Very comfortable house with excellent control of heating system. Well equipped kitchen, convenient to use. Large, private garden for those warm days. Location is ideal for exploring the Antrim coast as well as inland.

The Little Nook is near the Giant’s Causeway and Causeway Coast. The home is also a few feet away from Dunseverick Castle. The home owners, Caroline and Frank responded to all my messages and left very detailed information on things to do in the area to include the popular sites and how to get around. The place was cable ready (which I deeply appreciated) and had plenty of movies and board games inside to help pass the time. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice quiet spot with direct and easy access to the Giant’s Causeway and Causeway Coast.

Gemütliches Haus in super Lage

Die Lage ist wirklich hervorragend um alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung zu erkunden. Es ist herrlich ruhig mit Blick auf eine wunderschöne Landschaft. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden was man braucht und es sind ganz viele Informationen zum Haus, zur Umgebung, Restaurants etc. vorhanden. Auto sollte man aber haben, da weder Supermarkt noch Restaurant fußläufig zu erreichen sind. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Causeway Coast Stay

To us, the best thing about this stay is the location. So close to all the coast attractions with many pleasant walks right out the door. This home met our needs and enjoyed having a garden to ourselves since the weather was so nice during our stay. Excellent communications by Caroline--proactive and responsive, but respected our privacy, too.

Amazing location

Three seniors found this to be a perfect place from which to enjoy the Causeway area. The house had everything we could want and a vast collection of travel literature. It even has a beautiful backyard with comfortable furniture.

Perfect home from home with better views

All I can say is amazing. The property and location exceeded our expectations. Frank and Caroline popped down to see us and were amazing hosts, even down to the little details of listing the best places to eat and drink. As a family we cannot recommend Little Nook enough. We will be returning and have friends interested too.

Cosy Winter Getaway

Have stayed here before at Christmas and it never disappoints. A lovely seaside cottage with an eclectic seaside vibe with a wood burning stove to warm you up after enjoying a trek along the shoreline and cliffs enjoying the stunning views of the North Atlantic Irish coastline. We were there at Christmas and the views from the kitchen window are amazing whilst eating every morning you can enjoy watching the wintry seas crashing on rocks in the distance and the ever changing weather over Rathlin island.

Great find

Had a great stay “Little Nook”. Spotlessly clean and really cosy with the fire on. Great to go into kitchen and look out over Rathlin and on to Scotland. Even managed to get some Aurora photos with the dark skies. Comfy bed and great shower. Everything we looked for provided, managed a jigsaw during stay. Will stay again.
