Recently renovated end-unit apartment in the heart of the Finger Lakes

This roomy 2 bedroom apartment has been fully updated into a clean and pleasant space. It has one king bedroom and one Queen bedroom, each containing their own smart TV, closets, dressers and USB-compatible bedside lambs for all your devices. All the kitchen appliances are new stainless steel and there is a new washer and dryer in the designated laundry closet. The kitchen steps out onto a stamped concrete patio and a large terraced back lawn with your own firepit to take in the starry nights. The living room is large enough for your entire party and includes a pull-out sofa for additional guests. The newly updated bathroom is centrally located within the unit and has a custom-tiled shower. There is plenty of parking directly in front of the building, just several feet from state route 414 known as the Seneca Lake wine trail. Being on the wine trail affords you easy access to all the local wineries, breweries and restaurants in addition to easy commutes to Watkins Glen, Ithaca, the Finger Lakes National forest and Seneca Lake. This unit is the furthest unit to the north and is contained in the same building as the following vrbo property IDs: #3356010 (unit 2), #2926204 (unit 3) and #3363940 (unit 4).

We had a great stay. Property was clean and spacious. The beds were pretty firm, but we managed. We took advantage of the fire pit. We couldn’t quite figure out how to get the HVAC to work properly. I would highly recommend this property! Stayed October 2025.

Okay so here is an honest review. At first, when arriving we thought that this was too far away from where we wanted to be, but after we went out to dinner we realized it was the absolutely perfect distance from everything we wanted to do. 8 minutes from downtown watkins glen and just far enough to keep you away from the bussiness of other people. The property was perfect, with supplied firewood and a nice back yard with a very relaxed atmosphere. I can not express how much we enjoyed our stay here. Thank you once again and we will absolutely be booking again in the future. If you stay here make it a point to stop in the oar house bar and grill in frog hollow. Some of the most genuinely nice humans we have ever met. Both staff and patrons.

The two bedroom unit was clean and spacious with a well equipped kitchen. The washer and dryer in the unit were very nice. We really enjoyed using the fire pit out back and we loved BBQing on the grill. We saw great blue herons in flight at dusk and bats feeding at night while star gazing. There was not much noise from the highway which was nice. We found the location convenient to Watkins Glen SP, Corning Museum of Glass, all the SP and Cornell U in Ithaca area and of course multiple wineries and breweries on Seneca Lake with stunning views. Our host Drew was very responsive and helpful. There were a couple of areas that could use improvement. There was a lot of noise from our neighbors on the one side (we were in an end unit). The kitchen cabinets do not have soft close hardware so there was loud banging whenever they opened or closed them. The bathroom, while big and in general nice, had absolutely nowhere for us to put our personal items. There was about a 3 inch shelf to the right of the sink that barely held our toothbrushes. Also there were no extra hooks to hang a toiletry bag on. So some solid shelving (not like the small one with rails by the toilet that things fall through) and hooks would be an improvement. We used the second bedroom to lay out our toiletries. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this rental.

I will first like to say that I travel a lot and I like to be organized when travelling. That is just who am. It was listed that I would receive check in info 3 days prior which did not happen. I did reach out and was told by host that VRBO would be sending check in info. When I then reached out again host told me he would send codes the day of. That didnt work for me as I was going to be on the road for 7 hours, i did call VRBO they said if I did not hear from the host within the hour they would cancel our reservation, i didnt want that to happen as I was leaving in the morning for our trip. The host did respond with the codes which made me more comfortable.upon arrival I was a little nervous as the outside was very deceiving. The spot is directly on the wine trail very convenient for all places we were going. We walked in the door and all worries instantly vanished. the unit was adorable, newly renovated and exceptionally clean, it had most things for your stay that make it a little easier on the guest, trash bags, laundry detergent, paper towels and toilet paper.The Unit met all of our needs, we slept comfortably, the only thing was the toilet seat was loose and the couch is a pull out and therefore is uncomfortable to sit on when watching tv. Everything else was great.We were out all day and would come back every night to rest, this unit is perfect for that. The unit was close to Watkin Glenn Park, and the downtown area was great. and a 30 minute drive to Ithaca.

I loved this spacious place! It was spotless and located in such a charming area. I’d highly recommend staying here. While you’re in the area, be sure to visit Watkins Glen State Park and the Taughannock Falls overlook for incredible views. And don’t miss out on Gimme Coffee. The only thing I’d suggest is an upgrade to the pillows for added comfort.

Wonderful Home away from home

This VRBO rental is what you’re looking for. It was in a perfect location for seeing the wineries, hiking, and Seneca Lake. The place was very clean and the fire pit and BBQ grill out back was a great addition. You will not be disappointed in this rental. 10 out of 10!!!!!

We loved our stay! The apartment, location and amenities were wonderful. Everything was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable. The surrounding area was beautiful, especially Watkin’s Glenn State Park. If we ever return to the area, we would definitely want to stay here again.

Great Labor Day weekend!

Beautiful place, the pictures don’t even do it justice. Lots of space, very clean, comfy beds. Super close to lots of breweries, wineries, restaurants and Watkins glen area.
