"Sweet little hotel and good staff. The breakfast could be picked up a little bit, I found that many of the dishes were cold when they should’ve been warm and the pastries were not up to standards. Yeah, beer was about $24 when asked for two small beers. Good thing no there’s a grocery store right across the street. Lots of great restaurants around, but don’t eat at the Lebanese one that’s close to the hotel, we sent two dishes back."

"Room is very tidy and spacious for two. I particularly like the wardrobe is inside the bathroom area. View is very nice can see a part of the port. Gym has limited equipments such as the cable machine and dumbbells up to 25kg. Lots of treadmills to do cardio. Staff is very nice. Breakfast menu is okay. There is a variety of food but it becomes dull eating the same things every morning. Overall will recommend this place for stay."

"The room was spotless and well appointed. There is a local hawker centre about 400 meters away which we walked to for dinner. The bus stops were very handy and only 2MR to George Town. Zeus coffee was 5 mins across the road which my coffee enthusiastic enjoyed for price and quality. "

"This property is quite old, according to our Grab driver it's about 50 years old and it shows. They only have 3 lifts, one of which wasn't in service the entire time we were there. The lifts were slow and crowded. Our room had torn bedding the day we checked in, the bathroom had grime under the sink. This property way past its prime. "Got a room that was supposed to have sea view but we only got the horizon part as the lower view was obscured by another block (but only 2 storey). Apart from the above, Lone Pine is a superb resort for those who love basking under the shades of tropical trees and pines too, has well maintained and clean facilities, enjoying the serenity of Batu Ferringhi.
