  • 3 Elk Ranch es la joya del valle del río Arkansas. Situado a solo 8 minutos de Buena Vista a una altura de 8200 pies, puede disfrutar de la belleza de la Cordillera Colegial (todos los catorce) como Elk, Mule Deer y Antelope vagando por el valle.

    Esta hermosa casa de troncos tiene 3,000 pies cuadrados en 130 acres con una cubierta envolvente a 20 pies de 3 Elk Creek. La magnífica casa está llena de vistas en todas las direcciones.

    Nuestra acogedora casa cuenta con una amplia sala de estar frente al Monte Princeton, una gran cocina y comedor frente al Monte. Harvard, cuatro dormitorios principales, 3 ½ baños y 2 literas para niños. Una cocina con todas las comodidades necesarias para su estadía.

    Puede disfrutar de un café de desayuno o cócteles por la noche en la gran terraza con vistas desde todos los lados y el arroyo. Buena Vista y sus alrededores cuentan con rápidos de clase V a clase III-IV, kayak, pesca en el río Arkansas, senderismo para todos los niveles, jeeping de montaña, ciclismo de montaña, mochila, cabalgatas y dos aguas termales a solo 20-30 minutos de distancia .

It was a beautiful cabin, nicely decorated, and well maintained. The property was quiet and we saw lots of wildlife. My favorite part was the creek that runs just a few feet from the porch.

Great Cabin Get away

Had a great time tucked away from the crowds of downtown Buena Vista in this rustic authentic log cabin , loved the property and the views , everything was great , my family had a blast .

Our stay at the Rustic Log Cabin was spectacular! The Cabin is fully stocked and has a beautiful design. It has beautiful views of the mountains right outside your window. It’s only a few minutes to downtown Buena Vista. I highly recommend this cabin, you won’t be disappointed!

The log cabin provided a quiet and convenient location for our group as we traveled between Buena Vista and Leadville. The garage space was excellent for storing bikes and the outdoor areas were great for relaxing.

Relaxing log cabin by a stream

Our family had a great time. Secluded log cabin hidden in a group of trees with easy access to BV. My family enjoyed sitting outside on the deck and listening to the stream.

Very cool historic cabin. Peaceful, secluded location but still a quick trip to town where we found great restaurants. Beautiful views. Kitchen well stocked. Beds comfortable. Great experience.

Great place to stay!

The property was great! The owners were so nice and checked on us to make sure everything was going okay. The driveway was snowed in, so they worked tirelessly to make sure we could get in when we arrived.

Perfect for our family xmas gathering

My siblings and I and our spouses had a wonderful, cozy, and scenic Christmas week with my 90 year old father. Great kitchen for cooking large meals. We loved relaxing in front of the beautiful stone fireplace. Convenient to many attractions (Leadville, hot springs, Salida). But mostly just a great place to be together.

Very well taken care off. Top of the line decorations.Hosts are super communicative.We saw deer right in the back yard one morning and another morning we watched a heard of deer walk across the open field. Cozy/rustic feel with all modern needs!

Beautiful, peaceful ranch

This property was beautiful inside and out! We enjoyed the views and sound of the creek running through. The inside is like a western museum! Very clean and comfortable. Nice beds, plenty of bathroom space and fully stocked kitchen. It’s a wonderful place to spend time.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Loved sitting on the deck and listening to the creek. The only issues were that two of the sliding doors didn't work, and we couldn't open the garage door to get the grill out. We worked around it all, though. Great cabin in a wonderful location.

Home away from my home

This home and property was so welcoming, spacious and relaxing! The kitchen was supplied with everything we could possibly want and need. Working with the management was a pleasure and they answered all our questions. We sure hope we can come back next year.

Amazing!

This is the second time we have stayed here and once again, it did not disappoint. The house itself is so comfortable and there is plenty of room for our family of nine to spread out. The property is simply amazing. We went on walks, rode bikes, and no matter we did, our kids were always eager to get back to the creek to play. The location is convenient to town and lots of hiking. Lynne and Tracy were wonderful hosts and very responsive to anything we needed. We had an amazing vacation and hope to return again in the future!

The property is INCREDIBLE. Stunning views with a lovely creek, ponds, and fun antique equipment. We saw a group of 10 pronghorn just chilling on the property, a huge jackrabbit, and an adorable woodpecker nest in the tree directly behind the property. The house itself is spacious! The kitchen is updated and well stocked with cookware. Some of the mattresses are a bit on the uncomfortable side for me but might be totally fine for others.We traveled with four adults and three kids ranging in age from 4 to 7, and everyone had a great time and plenty of room to spread out. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your lovely property with us!!

Fantastic retreat!

Our stay at the cabin at 3 Elk Creek was wonderful! We had 3 generations of family staying - from 60 to 1 years old - and the house was a great fit for all of us!My husband had fun exploring all the art and artifacts on the walls and shelves - so many antiques and special things to look at! We all loved that we had access to a creek and wildlife right out the back door, and saw pronghorns almost every day.The kids had fun feeding the hummingbirds and leaving sunflower seeds for the curious squirrels, and spending time on the deck and around the little creek.The house was well appointed with everything we needed, and the host and staff were very helpful! We had a death in the family and had to leave early, but our time there was memorable! We hope to return again!!
