But the restaurant right across the street offering Bavarian cuisine was superb. I would definitely stay in the hotel again."

"Loved the location. Breakfast was wonderful. The restaurant across the way that was the affiliated with the hotel was also great. Stupid person that I am, I couldn’t figure out how to work the shades until the next morning and didn’t see any in the bathroom altho the window may have been glazed a bit. Das Zimmer war bei Ankunft dreckig, mit Staub, Flecken und deutlich sichtbaren Gebrauchsspuren. Auch das Badezimmer machte keinen hygienischen Eindruck. Die Einrichtung ist alt, beschädigt und offensichtlich seit Jahren nicht erneuert worden. Von dem, was online beworben wird, ist vor Ort kaum etwas wiederzuerkennen. Für den überteuerten...

"It’s a very quaint hotel in a medieval town. I would highly recommend staying at the hotel and in the town of Bacharach. It was very romantic. The rooms have been renovated fairly recently. Amenities are very limited in the hotel and town. There’s no pool or hot tub. But they do have a nice breakfast buffet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is no elevator and the rooms are on the second or third floor so be prepared to carry up and down your luggage."
