Fantastic Mountain Views

The cabin was cozy and had beautiful mountain views from every window. It has a great fireplace, very comfortable beds, and a lot children’s books and movies and games for the whole family. , the cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. My only recommendation would be

Mountain trip summer vacation

The Property was very clean. The pool table is repaired and hot tub was awesome. The only downfall personally was the obstructed long range views. Really great location from everything.

Great views of the mountains!

Clean with plenty of room. The road up was very steep but doable. The views were beautiful. Hot tub was great. The lower level was a little musty smelling. Overall a great place to stay.

Beautiful views!

We loved the property overall! The house was spacious with many amenities. The views were amazing, and the location was very private and quiet. The house was well equipped. Just a couple of notes -- we did have a problem with ants in the kitchen, and there were a couple of maintenance items (knob off drawer in bedroom; breaker in upstairs bathroom; soap dispensers not filled;) But otherwise, it was a great place!

Cute and great cabin. Love the privacy. We had a little issue with no hot water but one of our friend was an expert in that field so it was a quick fix for us. Thank you!

Disappointed in cleanliness, hot water not hot in master bath, just didn’t look like pics on VRBO,

Location good and we enjoyed but disappointed with overall appearance. Their housekeeping was lacking.

Labor Day Guys Trip

Nice location and nice cabin. We found trash in one of the bedrooms. We found beer cans around the jacuzzi. The grass around the fire pit and the cabin was over grown. The property needs some TLC.

Perfect Getaway

The cabin was perfect. It was very clean and cozy. We arrived late at night and it was very cold outside so it took a long time to get the place heated up because they keep the temperature at 55 in the winter. Other than that we enjoyed our stay very much . It’s close enough to town even though we were at the top of a winding road. Instructions were perfect on how to get there .

Property was spacious, location had beautiful moutain views and was very easy to get to by well maintained paved road in gated, quiet safe community. There was plenty of parking in front of the cabin for 3 cars. 4 wheel drive is strongly recommended for steep roads. The house was cozy and had everything as described including functioning grill, pool table, and hottub. We had a lot of issues with poor phone signal, internet going in and out and missing remotes for the TV made connecting with the outside world a bit difficult but this may be a plus for some people. Plenty of games and dvds to watch and lots of seating room. Having three levels was fantastic for our group and gave the kids and adults thier own spaces, but temperature control was difficult as the lower level was very cold while the upper levels stayed very warm. Beds were very comfortable. Not much yard space so we got a little cabin fever after a few days without access to streaming services. Would've liked more room outdoors for lounging...like a hammocks and lounge chairs on the porch. The home has some wear and tear and needs repairs/updates to blinds, doors, door handles, couches and electronics. Also, could use a deep clean of windows, dishes, upholstery etc. We did not have the amount of toilet tissue, dish detergent, or paper towels that we needed for 9 ppl staying for 4 nights. We had to go out and buy our own halfway through. Nonetheless our family had a great time and would return again in future!

We had a blast

The place is on top of a mountain/hill. It gives you a felling of a log house. The main living area was very smaller than what pics showed, but there was another living area in the basement, so we sent all the kids there to play. Lots of board games. Very close to Bryson City and Cherokee. It was well stocked but we ended up taking everything with us, so we did not use any consumables. Overall, we would definitely return in a few years.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second year planning our vacation through Yellow Rose Real Estate and it was fabulous! Everyone in the office goes above and beyond to make our experience perfect! The rental office is aware of why I only gave 1 star for condition and cleanliness and they were quick to resolve my concerns. We will definitely be renting from Yellow Rose next year! Beautiful rental properties and awesome people! Thank you!!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property Manager was provided lengthy lists of issues to include hot tub, rodent, door and hopefully the notes telling you what’s wrong with unit taped on walls will be removed. Perhaps next guest will have a clean problem free unit and will not need housekeeping to be on site before unpacking.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have come to Heavens Peak to share our love for it with our new daughter n law and granddaughter. It was just not the same as it has been. Bit run down. There were no tips on the pool sticks and the one that had one there was no chalk form kitchen supplies sparse, and we got bed bugs from the upstairs bed. Just not the same unfortunately. It is truly one of our favorite places to be with our family, but afraid we will have to move on.
