Perfect Getaway. Great South Island Location, Close to Beaches and Village.

Walking distance to Beaches, Pier, Lighthouse, and favorite restaurants. Site is near Village and 3 minutes to East Beach. Our Condo provides a Queen bed in the Master bedroom with two Twin beds in the second bedroom. there is also a roll-away bed for additional sleeping. Completely furnished kitchen with full bath upstairs and 1/2 bath on the first floor. The perfect getaway for a long weekend, a week or for an extended stay.

Convenient Vacation Home Base

Jeff's property was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. It was clean and only a 2 minute drive to the beach. This listing was convenient to nearly anything we wanted to do on the island. We also enjoyed using the pool on the premises as well. This was a great home base for our summer vacation.

Nice little 2 bedroom

The condo was nice. Plenty of room for our family of 3. Not far from the beach and pier village and right around the corner from Crab Trap/Crabdaddy's/Fiddlers. An affordable place for our quick beach getaway

Great Stay

Condo was exceptionally clean and was decorated very nicely. Everything worked properly and the kitchen had everything available that was needed for cooking and having meals when you want to stay in. We had a really great stay and would not hesitate to return.

Enjoyed our stay

This condo is in a great location and close to great restaurants. It's clean and comfortable. It's a 2 minute drive to a fabulous beach! If you are flying to this destination, know there are no beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, or any beach equipment available. Also, if the kids are looking forward to the pool that is shown in the listing, make sure to ask when it opens, since it is not always available nor cleaned. We are from colder climates and enjoyed the palm trees, sunshine, and watching the lizards scurry around in the back porch.

Great spot!

Overall, we really enjoyed our time at this property. Wonderful location for exploring St. Simons Island and beyond. Everything was super clean, well stocked, and safe. Beds were very comfortable, shared backyard was nice, and neighbors were quiet. Lots of extra blankets and pillows. Fast communication with owner. Laundry was super easy to access and I was glad it was there to wash wet beach clothes. It was too cold to use the pool but it looked like it would be fun other times of the year. Was really glad to see recycling bins available at the complex. A few things worth mentioning: - This unit is the closest to the road and was a little noisy from road traffic. Not terrible, but could impact light sleepers, so get an app for your phone! (or owner could consider providing a sound machine in bedrooms) - One day at the moment the clock turned 8am folks from the lawn care company came by and started BLASTING with leaf blowers! It was so loud and took us all by surprise! It woke every single person up in the house with a start, including the baby. Of course these folks have to do their job, and 8am isn't that early, but it was our vacation so we were sleeping in a bit. Nothing the owners were at fault for of course, it just really startled us! (maybe the complex could provide a lawn care schedule?) The only suggestion I have directly for the owners would be to put up some light-blocking curtains for the bedrooms. There are blinds for privacy, but the rooms were so bright as soon as the sun came up and most of the day, putting the baby down for a nap was a challenge. At one point I seriously considered sleeping in the (very spacious) closet to find some darkness! My few suggestions for improvement aside, it really is a lovely, well updated and maintained unit that any family would be happy to stay at.

Fishing trip

The condo is nice and very clean. It is convenient to many shops, restaurants and beach access. The only negative I found was at night we could hear transportation outside while we were trying to sleep, and the bed could’ve been more comfortable. The shower was great. There were fans and TVs in each bedroom. This condo is very close to the beach access at the coast guard station. It had a parking spot right by the front door. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Perfect for us

This is my second stay in this particular unit, 7 years apart. 4th stay in the complex. For 4 to 5 people it is just enough space though 6 would be ok. I would love to own one of these units. The location is great for the price. I rode my bike to the beach in about 5 mins. I launched my kayak in the creek which is even closer than the beach.

Great location!!

My kids and I really enjoyed this property. It was so cute and had everything we needed. I loved also how the owners had lists with numbers and addresses of places to eat. The location was right in the middle of everything. We really enjoyed exploring the island and had the best birthday weekend for my kids. The owner was so easy to work with and very responsive to any questions. We'd definitely stay here again.

Thank you to the friendly owners for sharing their lovely vacation home. The condo was clean, well appointed and the price was very reasonable. The kids enjoyed the pool and we appreciated all the tips about the town/restaurants/beaches provided by the owners. Highly recommend.
