The Brewershouse holidayhome

New holiday home at 500 m from the center of Bruges. Suitable for 7 people. There are two family rooms available, as well as two living rooms and two bathrooms. There is a garden with a terrace and parking options for three cars. There is an equipped kitchen with and everything is there to prepare a delicious meal. Upon arrival you will receive a beer package with an assortment of beers from our brewery. Options for reserving a beer and tasting.

  • The Basilica of the Holy Blood is a Roman Catholic minor basilica in Bruges, Belgium. Originally built in the 12th century as the chapel of the residence of the Count of Flanders, the church houses a venerated relic of the Holy Blood allegedly collected by Joseph of Arimathea and brought from the Holy Land by Thierry of Alsace, Count of Flanders. Built between 1134 and 1157, it was promoted to minor basilica in 1923. The 12th-century basilica is located in the Burg square and consists of a lower and upper chapel. The lower chapel dedicated to St. Basil the Great is a dark Romanesque structure that remains virtually unchanged. The venerated relic is in the upper chapel, which was rebuilt in the Gothic style during the 16th century and renovated multiple times during the 19th century in Gothic Revival style. Bruges is the capital and largest city of the province of West Flanders in the Flemish Region of Belgium, in the northwest of the country. The historic city centre is a prominent World Heritage Site of UNESCO. Along with a few other canal-based northern cities, such as Amsterdam, it is sometimes referred to as The Venice of the North. Bruges has a significant economic importance thanks to its port and was once one of the world's chief commercial cities. Booked for 7 people. Great location great interaction with hosts. It was a hot few days in Brugge but with no AC the heat rises to the bed rooms and it was unbearable. The windows don’t have screens so we were all attracted by mosquitoes. I had to buy mosquito repellent for one room and topical ointments. If you’re traveling with people who have an issue climbing tall narrow steps this isn’t the home for you. We appreciated the beer that was left for us and we enjoyed walking the city. Excellent if you’re also looking for safe secure parking.

Stop searching, this is the place to stay in Bruges

I only wish we stayed for 4 nights instead of 2. Absolutely perfect home for our family of 6. Everyone slept in their own bed for the first time during our EU vacation - hooray! Huge bonuses including parking, outdoor space, 2 living rooms, proximity to downtown and the #1 highlight - the owners (wonderful people) will prepare a multi-course meal in the home for you and your family paired with gin and beer from their local distillery / brewery. Unlike any experience we've ever had before.

Très bon sejour

Proche centre ville ,15 mn à pied de la place markt. Maison bien équipée ,calme ,seul bémol escalier très raide mais ne nous a pas dérangé .belle terrasse ,jardin , annexe qui est un plus pour grande famille.

Lovely house with small cottage

We spent a week in Brugge in this lovely decorated house and the small cottage in the backyard. The house has 3 bedrooms (one with an open entrance towards the stairs) which were occupied by our teenage kids. We used the cottage which has an own small bathroom with a shower. As mentioned in previous reviews the stairs are actually very steep which was not a problem for us but might have to be considered by others. The house is really lovely and a perfect basis for a great time in Brussels. Some small shops like a bakery are close by, large supermarkets only some minutes with the car (private parking is available right behind the cottage) and the city center with plenty of restaurants is in walking distance. The communication with the owner was easy and friendly although we never met. We would definitely go there again and recommend it to others.

Wonderful stay

We had a WONDERFUL two night stay here and wish it were longer. The property and location were perfect. On our second night Isabelle and Bhrett came over and gave us a three hour gin and beer tasting and three course meal. It was incredible! We had one vegan member and they made food to accommodate that as well. It was the best meal we had on our two week trip. Beer and gin were delicious and the food was gourmet and really really good. HIGHLY recommend.

Great location and wonderful hosts

The BrewersHouse truly became our home for our stay in Belgium. It was close to city center (and far enough away ;-) ), lots of space, including a separate building with a bedroom and full bath (shower), with very comfortable sleeping arrangements. The kitchen was convenient, and we easily made breakfast and a few dinners in the house. It's close to the bus to the train station for easy access to towns like Ghent, Antwerp and Brussels. There's parking for the car that took us to the seashore, Ypres (Ieper), and Waterloo. Our hosts brought us a wonderful, fresh-cooked meal (prepared in the house) one night, along with some great beer and gin from their brewery/distillery. Our hosts were also very flexible--we had originally planned this trip during the height of the Omicron COVID pandemic, and rescheduled it to June, then again to December of 2022. I can't begin to voice my appreciation for that! Note that the property is well-appointed with everything you might need . . . but the stairs are quite steep, and not appropriate for young children. I highly recommend the property and its hosts for teenagers through adults, but not for anyone with mobility issues.

Fantastic location

We loved our brief stay in Florence and this apartment was perfect! We were grateful to be located in the heart of everything as we could easily take much needed breaks throughout the day from the heat and lots of walking. The air conditioning was very much appreciated. We also appreciated Luca's quick response when we had a key mishap at check-in. This place is small, as described, but had a great shower, washer and dryer (also appreciated) and basically everything we needed. I would definitely recommend it!

Brilliant house!

A perfect house to rent for a large group of friends or family. Very clean, parking available and a good selection of double and single beds. Easy walk into the city centre of Bruges or to some lovely delis, shops and bakeries.
