Lady Anna Charming Suite in the Center of Bruges

Feel cared for in this typical Bruges inspired place that has been restored recently, retaining its individual charm and character yet equipped with every detail necessary for modern living with comfort in mind. Total privacy - no shared places in the guestsuite.

The guestsuite is decorated with contemporary and antique furniture & art, Oak wooden doors and natural stone floors. The guestsuite is fully equipped.
The bedroom is nicely furnished and offers a king size bed (box spring) which can be adapted to your sleeping position (can be adapted electrical). Bedding anti allergic. Enough space to hang or lay your clothes in the adjacent dressing cabinet.

The bathroom is nicely furnished and offers a separate rain shower and toilet, and separate wash sinks.
Nice guestroom located in central Bruges, St. Anna Quarter - the oldest and quietly part of center Bruges, close to the Central Market, the ST Anna Church, Guido Gezelle Museum, Adornes Chapel, mills, and the Belfry of Bruges, .... about 7 minutes walk thorough the nicest part of the center.
Additional points of interest including Basilica of the Holy Blood, Concert Building of Bruges, Old St-John Hospital, Saint Salvator's Cathedral, Groeninge Museum, Bruges Concert Hall, Bruges City Theathre and Church of Our Lady

  • The Basilica of the Holy Blood is a Roman Catholic minor basilica in Bruges, Belgium. Originally built in the 12th century as the chapel of the residence of the Count of Flanders, the church houses a venerated relic of the Holy Blood allegedly collected by Joseph of Arimathea and brought from the Holy Land by Thierry of Alsace, Count of Flanders. Built between 1134 and 1157, it was promoted to minor basilica in 1923. The 12th-century basilica is located in the Burg square and consists of a lower and upper chapel. The lower chapel dedicated to St. Basil the Great is a dark Romanesque structure that remains virtually unchanged. The venerated relic is in the upper chapel, which was rebuilt in the Gothic style during the 16th century and renovated multiple times during the 19th century in Gothic Revival style. Bruges is the capital and largest city of the province of West Flanders in the Flemish Region of Belgium, in the northwest of the country. The historic city centre is a prominent World Heritage Site of UNESCO. Along with a few other canal-based northern cities, such as Amsterdam, it is sometimes referred to as The Venice of the North. Bruges has a significant economic importance thanks to its port and was once one of the world's chief commercial cities. One of the nicest VRBO properties we have stayed at. Nina & Frank have created a true home away from home for travelers to enjoy. Very comfortable bed, quality bedding, well equipped kitchen, even fresh milk, butter, homemade jams & fruit in the fridge. Little extras such as toothbrushes in case you forgot. Location is great, just outside the main tourist area, thus quiet, yet easily walkable no matter where you wish to go. Hosts readily available if needed & willing to consider special requests. Would absolutely book this property again.

Beautiful Brugge

From pre check-in to arrival, Nina was with us every step. Her place was charming and comfortable as though we visiting an old friend who had gone to great lengths to make us feel welcome and at home. Her place was clean and well-appointed with special welcoming touches. Perfect location.

A Delight

A perfect stay for two. Very quiet, yet just minutes walk from the Markt, grocery shopping and a delightful pub (Vlissinghe) that is warm welcoming and has a fine menu. Secure parking is a few minutes walk from the apartment and Uber drivers had no problem finding the address. Can’t recommend this property highly enough.

Great quiet spot

We loved the apartment. It was just far enough away from the main parts of town to be quiet, yet within a few minutes walk to everything we needed. Nina took a lot of care to make sure everything we needed was available or easily accessible. We also parked a car. The parking spot was a bit down the road from the apartment, but in a very secure location so that we did not have to worry about it during our stay. Overall a lovely apartment for 2 people.

Highly recommended

The property was exactly as listed; all the amenities were A++ and communication with Nina, the host was easy and with timely responses. The property is beautiful and the pullout couch was super comfy! The location was just right for walking to the center of town and away from any noise. Bikes easy to use with a code to unlock, and the check in/check out process was a breeze. This was our best part of our vacation and wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful St Anna in wonderful Bruges!

Our stay at St Anna was delightful! It is such a lovely, comfortable ‘home away from home’ - beautifully furnished, well-equipped and with many delightful ‘extras’ such as the many quality towels provided, extremely comfortable adjustable bed, big bathroom with a great shower, perfumes and toiletries - and the list goes on! We loved the quiet, quaint area - away from the busyness of the centre but still within easy walking distance of all the Bruges attractions as well as supermarkets and a pharmacy. The breakfast supplies were amazing! Nina was a great host and went above and beyond to be very helpful to us - much appreciated, Nina. Best wishes from Angela and Mike.

Great time in Bruges

Everything you could want or need

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was within easy walking distance of everything but like a little neighbourhood to come home to. Beautiful Bruges

It was great to relax in the peaceful haven of Nina's property. Everything we needed was there and more. Although in a quiet neighbourhood, we were only a short walk to the main attractions of the town. Nina was readily available to answer any questions and made us feel were were in a home away from home. I would definitely recommend a stay at the Lady Anna Charming Suite.

Outstanding stay

The apartment is absolutely wonderful and in an ideal location for exploring Bruges. Nina is an excellent host. Her attention to detail is truly impressive. The abundance of amenities, décor, exceptional cleanliness and very comfortable bedding all made for an unforgettable stay. We really appreciated all the special touches Nina provided including several homemade jams. Also, since we arrived by car, the ability to rent a parking space in a nearby garage was especially helpful.

Lady Anna’s accommodation in Bruges, Belgium equates to a 5 star resort rating. While it did not come with jacuzzi or swimming pool, Lady Anna left out no details to make our stay a wonderful experience, including notes to welcome us, toothbrushes, coffee pods, a welcoming breakfast basket with homemade goodies that we purchased separately and enjoyed during our stay; use of a washing machine/dryer unit, sightseeing information, bicycles for rent. . . . the list goes on. We did have difficulty checking in because the instructions she sent did not appear in my inbox, but VRBO’s system is at fault for that debacle. You won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay at Lady Anna’s 5 star accommodation!

Few Days in Bruges

We absolutely loved staying in this apartment in Bruges! It was a perfect size and, included all the amenities we could ever need. Nina is a fantastic host who also helped us arrange transportation and made us a delicious breakfast that was waiting for us when we checked in. The apartment is the perfect size for two people and is in a great location for walking and experiencing everything Bruges has to offer.

Relaxing in Brugge

Our stay was perfect.. everything was an easy walk or bike ride away.. it rained one night but we didn’t even hear the rain.. great places to eat near by as well as a supermarket.. I would definitely come again ..💕💕🌷🌷
