Enjoy a wonderful location within walking distance of Whaleshead Beach (0.2 miles) and close to fantastic attractions, including Whaleshead Viewpoint, Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor, Arch Rock State Park, Chetco Brewing Company, Azalea Park, Chetco Point Park, Crissey Field State Recreation Site, Alfred A. Loeb State Park, and Redwood Nature Trailhead.



    Spend memorable times in your private hot tub treating your muscles to a soothing bath after a long walk on the beach, or hosting delicious barbecues on the patio using the provided gas grill. Inside, this welcoming abode provides you with an inviting living area. Spread out comfortably on the sofa as you stream a favorite show, movie, or sports game on the smart TV. There are board games and free WiFi to keep you entertained as well. When mealtime comes, whip up a delicious treat or homemade meal in the full kitchen. The bedroom enjoys a smart TV for added entertainment and comfort.

Not sure why people are giving it an 8/10 for the outside yes there are tree branches and moss etc what do you expect your staying in a cottage in an area surrounded by beautiful trees it was small but nice they allowed my dogs location location location to multiple beaches and state parks and to town can’t stress that enough we had a great time didn’t want to leave oh and the hot tub was a huge plus so nice i used it daily also really nice that there is a communal laundry area having dogs and having to frequently do wash

Management was very responsive to questions. Was a little smaller than we expected but worked fine for two. Was pet friendly which was a plus. Hot tub was great, clean and a comfortable temperature. Area was quiet and mostly secluded. Close to beaches and city.

The tiny house is located about 8 miles north of Brookings. It's a cute, older, little park model mobile home nestled in the trees at the Whaleshead Resort. It sits back away from the road and is surrounded by vegetation and seems very private. Parking is adequate. The resort is a not really a resort anymore, but rather a nicer trailer park located across Highway 101 from the Whaleshead beach. The '''resort" consists of several loops with mostly tiny homes -many with garages and/or built-on rooms. Most seem to be in good condition, but there are a few scarier looking RV's in one loop that have been there for a while. Okay, the good and the not so good about the home. As Mentioned, it's cute. One bedroom, small bathroom, kitchen, dining and living area. Lots of cabinets and everything (almost) seemed to work fine. There is a wraparound deck and a hot tub on the back deck. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub was clean and nice. The home lacked one thing; charm. The Mini split AC fan sits next to the hot tub and is noisy. Inside, the furnishings and amenities are spartan and cheap. The fold down couch is a joke and is probably the $150 unit sold at Walmart. Don't plan on using it as an extra bed except for younger kids who don't care about comfort. There is no comfy place to sit. The dining table and two chairs are old and rickety. The place would be a lot more appealing and comfortable with a nicer couch and nice chair. Appliances also on the cheap side. Missing 2 blinds.
