Sticks & Stones is a 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath luxury lodge located in the heart of Hochatown in Kaniatobe Trails SW. Sticks & Stones is close to the Broken Bow Lake, Beavers Bend State Park, and the Cedar Creek Golf Course. Sticks & Stones is within walking distance to Abendigo’s Grill & Fine Dining, Grateful Head Pizza, the Blue Rooster, and Girls Gone Wine. Sticks & Stones is the perfect place for secluded relaxation or fun-filled activities and dining.

Sticks & Stones boasts five bedrooms all with ensuite baths! The big, beautiful master bedroom is located on the first floor. The floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace opposite the custom built Aspen bed may be too tempting to stay in bed all day! The four king bedrooms upstairs are also custom built and each include a set of twin trundles. Each of the upstairs rooms can sleep up to 4 each! All 5 bedrooms have a wall-mounted, satellite TV. The loft has a sleeper sofa, a foosball table, and another TV! The half bath is conveniently located off the living area.

The large kitchen is fully equipped at Sticks & Stones and has custom cabinetry and granite countertops throughout. The custom built dining table and living areas were built for maximum enjoyment while cooking and visiting. Adjacent to the kitchen/dining area you will find the game room equipped with a pool table and flat screen TV.

Sip your morning coffee on the large back deck at Sticks & Stones while watching the wildlife graze in the wooded back yard, make lifelong memories with your family and friends enjoying s’mores around the fire pit, or relax in the hot tub located on the covered back porch.

Traveling with a large group and need more space? As You Wish, Double Nickel, Blossom Belle Lodge, Electric Avenue, and Dear Haven are in the same area.

Loved it!

Excellent property for us! Spring break was crazy, wish we knew how busy it was going to be (was hard to get food reservations and activity reservations last week... but should have known)! Besides that, what a Great House for us! My wife and I loved it, as did our 4 kids (10, 8, 6, and 4 years old). The hot tub was great, the fire pit was awesome, and we did play a bunch of foosball (y'all had some missing handles on the table, but it didn't matter that much... but maybe should get those fixed)... The house was super clean, and perfect for our crew... Would 100% recommend staying here!! We loved it!

Very clean and confortable

Cabin was very clean and confortable it has Everything we need we don’t have to ask for any thing else. Very spacious for the number of guests.. good quality of sheets on beds and very confortable mattresses, We definitely will use the cabin again.

I’ve stayed in multiple rentals in Beavers bend area and have been very satisfied with the rentals. This property has not been well taken care of. Starting with the outside of the home . It needs to be painted . That part didn’t really bother us but it was a sign that it was not maintained. All of the cooking items, pans, bowls, plates etc need to be replaced. There was nothing decent to cook with and scratched up plates. For the rental price these items should be updated periodically. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable . They creak everytime you move and you can hear every noise from the upstairs in the downstairs area. The gas grill had not been cleaned in a long time and was filthy. The hot tub cover is ragged had a holes on the inside and The water had a bad odor. We booked the property several months in advance and been on another trip to beavers bend a few months before we stayed at the rental. We drove by Sticks and Stones and I was disappointed in the looks of the property and how close it was to the street. I tried to cancel the rental and wanted to re-book with another since it was months before our trip I thought that was a VRBO policy (that you could cancel as long as it was over 30 days out. I was told that when we booked the booking was moved to Blue Beavers cabins and they did not offer a refund and I would have to forfeit what had been paid. The only option they gave me was to move to another one of Their mgmt companies cabins and they only had one other that could accommodate us and it was considerably more expensive. There are plenty of well kept , nice cabins in Beavers bend. keep looking.

Bad road

Everything about the cabin and working with the property manager was excellent and easily a 5 star experience, however,the road getting to the cabin was aweful, potholes everywhere, and I mean everywhere and many deep ones. There would be only 1 condition for our group to return, that would be ,if the road to the cabins when you try off route 259 is not fixed and drivable, our group would not rent there again. When you can't dodge a pothole because there are so many along that entire road, and cars bottom out because of them , it not worth the possible expense of damage to vehicles suspension or under carriage. Also it would not be hard to put solar lights on the cabin signs by the road to help putting light on the road at night. Even with head light hi beams is is still very difficult to drive down those roads at night, because it is literally pitch black in those woods.

Sticks and Stones = rock star status

We loved the sticks and stones house, the flexibility for ALL of use to have our own space or we could all be together was amazing! My favorite room of the entire house was the kitchen absolutely stunning. Don’t normally cook with gas so that took an adjustment or two to get used to. We understood the reasoning but the only negative was the late check-in but hey everything worked out perfectly and we even had the Easter bunny come by and visit the kiddos!

Family Vacay

This cabin was the perfect escape from our everyday lives. My sister and I met here with our husband and children. There was plenty of room to sleep, lounge , and/or play inside and outside. That goes for children and adults !!

Perfect Family Getaway Spot!

This property is beautiful and perfect for my family’s weekend getaway. We loved everything from the hot tub to the pool table to the immaculate kitchen to the beautiful outdoor fireplace. It’s such a calm spot to be able to sip hot coffee on a colt morning while watching deer wander through the trees. I definitely recommend this place as one of my favorite rentals ever! Thank you to the owners and leasing agents for being so thorough and accommodating 😊

A gorgeous cabin with tons of things to do so you never want to leave. The kitchen was fully stocked. It even has extras you may not have thought about (crockpot, griddle etc). The kids loved playing hide and seek - my son said it was his favorite part of the trip because there were so many places to hide! We went with a friend group and each family had plenty of space in their own private rooms and bathrooms. Truly a perfect cabin. We will be back!

Wonderful Family Getaway!

We brought our entire family (four daughters, three son-in-laws and a grandson) to celebrate the cancelled-because-of-covid graduations of our college and high school graduates. We were looking for a place that we could kick up our feet and relax. . .Sticks and Stones was exactly what we needed. The house was roomy and offered everything we needed. We loved the hot tub and the corn hole boards and have a bathroom for everyone was so nice. We can't say enough good things about this cabin and the entire Broken Bow area! We will be back!!

Annual Girls Weekend!

Every year me and 14 of my dearest friends get together. This year we stayed at this cabin - Sticks and Stones. It was beautiful - clean - spacious and well accommodated all of our needs. The kitchen was spacious for us to cook, the deck was covered and the hot tub was amazing! It was chilly outside at night so the fireplace on the deck was very nice. The only thing that would have made it perfect is if it was on the water! However, everything you could want is a short distance away. We had deer in our yard, a raccoon and some of the largest rabbits I have ever seen in my life! This would be a perfect place to bring my family back to and enjoy some time! The only down side - the road going in was extremely bumpy - tons of pot holes so be careful. One of our friends did end up with a flat tire. The other down side are the neighbors are very close. There are trees separating - and no one bothers anyone. Just very close. We had plenty of room for 15 women and never felt like we were crowded. Great time was had.
