Space Cowboy is a one-of-a-kind themed cabin where the Wild West meets outer space — a neon-lit Space Cowboy mural and spiral staircase at the door, celestial painted ceilings overhead, and a glowing geodesic dome on the attached deck. Kids burst in and don't know what to run to first.

★ THE STARGAZER DOME ★
A true geodesic dome suite on the deck — king bed, private full bathroom with rain shower, electric fireplace, smart TV, coffee + cocktail station, and a telescope ready on the observatory deck. Its own Wi-Fi extender keeps the signal strong. Fall asleep under the dome, wake up in the treetops. Full AC/heat (see notes — it's a luxury tent structure, and we're honest about what that means).

🛏 SLEEPS 12 — THE LAYOUT
Main floor: kitchen, living space, bar, and the indoor/outdoor game space — all the sleeping happens up the spiral staircase.

SECOND LEVEL (up the spiral staircase):


King Suite 1 — king bed, ensuite bathroom, smart TV
King Suite 2 — king bed, ensuite bathroom (shared with the bunk space)
Game Room Bunks — full-over-full bunk beds right in the open-air game room, so the kids fall asleep where they played

The Starry Loft — 2 twin beds under a galaxy-painted ceiling, stocked with board games


THE DOME (off the upper deck):


King bed, full bath, electric fireplace, TV, coffee station — its own private suite under the stars

Pets: up to 2 dogs welcome, added in advance, $50 per pet, per night. Crate them when left alone, keep them off the furniture, and wipe muddy paws at the door. Unregistered pets incur additional fees.

You're just minutes from the Ouachita National Forest and its miles of ATV/UTV trails winding toward Broken Bow Lake. Bring your own machines or rent in Hochatown — Captain's Hideaway Powersports, Bandits ATV & Boat Rental, or Broken Bow Slingshots — and they'll point you to the closest access and the best routes. Riders stick to MVUM-designated forest routes.

📍 THE LOCATION

North Hochatown, bordering the Ouachita National Forest — about 15 minutes to Broken Bow Lake, Beavers Bend State Park, and Hochatown's restaurants, breweries, and shops. Grocery delivery available to the cabin.

Guests have access to the entire cabin, the dome, and all outdoor amenities — hot tub, sauna, pickleball court, fire pit, ninja course, ATV trail connection, and outdoor living spaces. Parking for 4–5 vehicles in the driveway.

Not accessible to guests: two locked closets and the locked attic in the loft are owner storage and remain locked during your stay.

We're Tara & Luke, and we run Space Cowboy like mission control: there when you need us, invisible when you don't.

Check-in is fully self-guided — one keypad code unlocks both the cabin and the dome, so you can roll in after 4 PM and head straight for the hot tub. You'll get everything you need before arrival: directions for the last gravel stretch, grocery delivery options, ATV rental contacts, and the full trail rundown.

During your stay, message us anytime through the app — we monitor it actively and respond fast. A bulb out, a stubborn sauna, a question about which trail suits your youngest rider — we'd rather fix it in five minutes than have it color your trip. Cell service is spotty out here, but the cabin's Starlink Wi-Fi keeps the app working, so messaging is the most reliable way to reach us.

Otherwise, the place is yours. Trail rides at dawn, hot tub at dusk, telescope at midnight.

The Dome: full AC and heat, but it is a luxury tent structure — on extreme-temperature days it won't hold temperature exactly like the main cabin.

Most guests find it comfortable year-round; we want you to know before you book.


Security cameras: two exterior cameras (front door + driveway) for security only. No interior cameras.

Pets: up to 2 dogs welcome when added to the reservation in advance.

Septic system: toilet paper only; no grease down the sink.

Cell service is spotty in the area — Starlink Wi-Fi works great the moment you arrive.

ATVs: riders must stay on MVUM-designated forest routes; helmets required under 18; county-road riding is prohibited. Trail guide in the cabin.
Stairs: all sleeping spaces are accessed by spiral staircase (and the loft by a second one) — something to know for guests with limited mobility or very small children.

Smoke-free property; outdoor smoking at the fire pit area only.

Wildlife & bugs: Space Cowboy sits in wooded country bordering the Ouachita National Forest — deer, raccoons, insects, and the occasional uninvited critter come with the territory. We take pest control seriously: the property is professionally treated on a regular schedule. Even so, in deep-woods Oklahoma the occasional insect indoors or out is normal and not grounds for a refund. Please keep doors closed, don't leave food out, and bring bug spray for the porch in warm months.

Furniture: please don't move furniture (it's heavy, it protects the floors, and the theming is placed deliberately). A $300 fee applies if furniture must be moved back or floors are damaged.

Excessive cleaning: our cleaning fee covers normal post-stay turnover. Stays requiring excessive cleaning — unbagged trash, spills left untreated, dishes piled unwashed, smoking evidence, pet mess from unregistered pets — incur an additional cleaning fee starting at $150, billed at cost.
