WAYFARERS REST Amazing sea view! Private estate on seafront.

  • Stunning second floor apartment in converted edwardian house on the seafront. Plenty of parking available on the private road.
    Fabulous location with wonderful coastal walks in either direction. Ten minutes walk to Joss Bay to the left, or 30 minutes walk to Broadstairs town to the right. There is also access to the beach below via steps only accessible with a key provided to estate residents.
    The apartment itself has a beautiful fitted kitchen with breakfast bar looking out to sea, spacious and comfy lounge/diner, again with sea views. The master bedroom has a Jack and Jill ensuite bathroom with bath and walk in shower. The second bedroom has twin beds and arguably the best view of all. There's also a balcony off the hallway if you want to take in some fresh sea air.
    Broadstairs is a beautiful unspoilt gem with its golden sandy beach and harbour arm. Broadstairs has it's own micro climate and often avoids the worst of the weather. Even in winter you can often find a sheltered spot to sit outside and enjoy a coffee.
    Margate and Ramsgate are both worth a visit as they both have their own vibe and something different to offer. Historic Canterbury is less than 25 minutes by train, or 40 minutes by car.

Excellent hosts with an attention to detail beyond compare. Well maintained, spotless accommodation. English channel views and possibly the best Kent coast beaches on your doorstep. You are highly unlikely to find better at this price point, just book it and enjoy!

Die Gastgeber waren superfreundlich. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet und war sogar weihnachtlich dekoriert, incl. Baum, einfach spitze! Es gab dazu ein großzügiges Starterpaket mit Brot, Käse, Eiern, Milch und Christmaspudding. Lage 1A.

Perfect!

Our stay at Gaynor & Barry's lovely place was absolutely perfect! The apartment was cosy and fully serviced and it was very easy to drive to Canterbury to visit the catherdral. I highly recommend the accommodation!

Great location, wonderful place and great hosts

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The property was equipped with everything we needed and we really appreciated the thoughtful gestures by the host that made us feel welcome. The place is spotless clean and comfortable. Being so close to the beach was a an extra highlight!

We feel so lucky to found by coincedent this amazing site at Thanet Island which was so cozy and splendid interior, but most of all we felt in love with the landlords of this little paradise.

Lovely, cozy, well equipped apartment with stunning views of the sea! Gaynor and Barry are very friendly hosts with great hospitality! There's so many things to do in the area, so many wonderful bays with beautiful white cliffs and lovely beaches. Canterbury is easy to reach and the villages around the coast worth a visit!Thank you for a wonderful holiday, we were so sad to leave!

Very peaceful and safe location with amazing views of the sea from all the windows. The apartment is very comfortable, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean. In fact, the apartment felt much larger than shown in the photos. There was plenty of room for our family of 2 adults & 2 older teens. We really appreciated all the personal touches e.g fresh flowers and supplies like milk & bread. The apartment had everything we needed and we really enjoyed exploring Broadstairs and the local area. Barry and Gaynor were excellent hosts and very welcoming. Thank you! Highly recommended.

Immaculate setting with a personal touch

Perfect position on the coastal path with stunning ocean views from a pristine, high spec and comfortable apartment, with private access to the beach via a well maintained stairway through the cliff.As good as it gets really, the owners have set a high bar.

Wonderful little spot for an escape! The flat itself was lovely - I Ioved the nautical decor and it was so quiet and peaceful. The area around is fantastic, and the access to the beach is an added bonus. Barry and Gaynor were also most welcoming and friendly. An absolutely fantastic spot all round

Perfect Home from Home

Lovely apartment, clean, tidy and full of everything you need for a home from home. Owners are extremely welcoming and provided a lovely welcome pack. The beaches in Thanet are lovely with lots to see in the area.
