Bring your family and friends to enjoy an amazing getaway on the beautiful Great Sacandaga Lake! This beautiful lakefront home sits on 115 feet of direct lake access, with 50' of frontage and with breathtaking views. Spend some time enjoying the outdoors on a large, flat lawn that leads down to your own private dock. The GSL is a reservoir and lake levels vary throughout the seasons.
Located on the southeast side of The Great Sacandaga Lake, this home features an open floor plan with a gourmet fully-stocked kitchen, an eat-in bar and an additional dining area for 6. Open to the kitchen is a cozy living room with a gas fireplace and flat screen TV. Settle in after a full day on the lake in the Adirondack themed great room with cathedral ceilings and enjoy the electric fireplace, TV, bar, pool table, poker table, dart board and board games. You can also enjoy your evenings out on the back deck with a cozy fire in the outdoor fireplace while you watch the sun set on the lake. You’ll never get bored in your home away from home.
This lakefront gem offers 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and sleeps up to 12 guests.
The second floor offers a spacious, direct lakefront master suite with a king size bed, dressers, closets and ensuite bathroom. The bathroom features a large glass shower and jacuzzi tub. The master suite offers a private deck so you can enjoy your morning coffee and watch the lake come to life.
Next to the master bedroom is one of the three upstairs bedrooms that offers a king bed and adjoining full bathroom with views overlooking the lake.
The third and fourth upstairs bedrooms, located off the great room, offer queen beds and closets. Above these bedrooms is a loft which offers two queen beds, full bed and futon.
There is an elevator that allows access to the second floor. The home is also fully stocked with linens, washer and dryer, and basic household items. There is a two-car garage with room for an additional 4 cars in the driveway.
Contact the property manager to coordinate boat and jet ski rentals. They can also provide any additional items upon request whether it be decorating for a party, stocking the refrigerator and bar, or any additional requests that would suit your needs. This is more than just a typical vacation home rental, it’s a luxury retreat that you won’t soon forget.

We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for our family. The house was very clean, and the host, Nate, was very easy to communicate with. We enjoyed the beach area near the dock; our grandkids had a great time playing there. Sacandaga Lake is beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the sunsets.

Nice well stocked property. Amazing sunsets as described. Property was clean and well maintained. Convenient location to things to do. Try Animal park it was 10 minutes away and safari drive was amazing. We did have a hiccup checking in as code was not reset. Nate came over the next day to appologize. Stuff happens and all in all we had a super vacation and I highly recommend this property.

The beautiful home and layout was excellent for our family, which included 3 toddlers grandchildren. The dock a big hit with the children jumping off of it. And of course the sunsets were beautiful.

Sacandaga Camp 2024

Our family of 11 had a wonderful week at the Sunsets at the Great Sacandaga. Many memories were made. Our 4 grandchildren had a great time swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing. The camp was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We all enjoyed sitting by the fire at night telling stories. Definitely would go back.

Awesome lake house

Location on lake is great with only neighbors boat traffic, long yard with space to play, house is well appointed. Check in and out was easy. The sunsets from the table on the patio spectacular. This rental checked all the boxes for a great vacation.

Amazing Property

Nate's property was all that we hoped for and more! The home was perfect for our family. The location on the lake is great. It is just behind Scout Island toward the bottom of the main part of the lake. It was easy to get to from both land and lake. Boat launch is just a couple miles north (Broadalbin). The dock fit both of our boats perfectly and we enjoyed using the 2 kayaks that came with the property as well. Plenty of parking for our 5 vehicles and 2 boat trailers. The yard was spacious with plenty of room to play yard games or hang out by the firepit. The sunsets were AMAZING as advertised! The main living area was great and the game room even better! Bedrooms and loft were comfortable for sleeping as well and there were air conditioning units throughout the house. Although the house has beds enough to sleep 16 people, the listing says 12 and I suspect that is because of the well water only being able to support that many showers, toilet flushes, laundry, dishes, etc. Any more than 12 and there would likely be issues with water flow and pressure. We had one storm come through during our week which caused a quick power surge that affected the well pump. Nate was quick to respond to the issue and had a guy at the house to remedy the situation quickly. The house was well equipped with games, puzzles, kitchenware, etc. I would highly recommend this listing for anyone wishing to visit Lake Sacandaga. Nate was a fantastic host and we hope to return again next summer!

First GSL experience was...great!

Our family has had several memorable past vacations in the Adirondacks, but this was our first on the Great Sacandaga Lake. And it was a great one! The house itself was terrific — comfortable, fully stocked (kitchen knives might be a bit sharper) and plenty roomy. The GSL was just right for several fun swims. And the colorful sunsets were as advertised. The unanimous consensus was that we may well be back before too long.

Covid Hit Our Family

My husband, son and I got COVID two days before our vacation. Therefore, we were unable to go but our two other sons with their families went without us. We heard that they had a great time.The pictures they sent us made us feel like we were almost there with them. The kids loved jumping in the lake off the dock and they enjoyed hours on their paddleboards and kayaks exploring the island across the cove. The house turned out perfect for them.

Sacandaga Special

Terrific home on the water at the lower and quieter end of the Lake, close to a gem of a boat up restaurant. Home was fully equipped and lacked for virtually nothing, including Keurig and Expresso machines, 3 refrigerators and plenty of games and water toys. Family loved it!

Sunset sacandaga

This was a beautiful house right on the lake. Nate was easy to reach when we had questions. The beautiful game room with pool table,card table and games kept us entertained even when the weather did not cooperate. I would definitely recommend this house, There is a ton of space to spread out or be together!!

Great week on Sacandaga

Great property. Host was super....handled all questions immediately and had recommendations for local activities. The property is right on the lake with a large dock, firepit, lots of beach chairs, and several kuyaks. My grandsons appreciated the pool table in the updstairs den. It gave them a chance to beat their grandfather to their great delight over the two weeks we were there. If you are looking for waterfront on Sacandaga, this is the place to go. Fantastic vacation.

Perfect Place to Get Away

The house and property was perfect for us. Had absolutely everything we could possibly need. The dock and water access were amazing. Our host Nate was easily accessible to answer our questions about boat access. The lake was beautiful and the house sits in a quiet area. Kids swam and tubed, the adults lounged and relaxed. Store were close by, so no worries if you forget anything or need to replenish. Can't wait to go back. I would highly recommend this property to any family.

Annual Trip

Great place for friends to get together and have a weekend on the lake! So much room inside and outside to hangout and near some fun local spots for food and drinks. Lots of parking space, kitchen space, and fun hangout space upstairs. Nate was super easy to get in contact with and the place was super clean and organized with everything we could need when we got there.

Awesome End of Summer on The Lake Location !!!

As described in my review title, this location is amazing and ideal for end of summer on the lake. The host was very accessible to us and answered promptly. The house is very well stacked and beautifully arranged, spacious and clean. Lake access was a must. We were nicely surprised by the community tradition of "Ring of Fire" which was spectacular - not sure about other lakes in the area, but Lake Sacandaga community amazed us with an stunning end of the summer show of fires and fireworks all around the lake, it was quite a show. We will definitely consider this property in the future!!!

Amazing week

Had my 70th birthday celebration with friends and family. House was amazing everyone had such a good time. The game room was a lot of fun but being outside with a Beautiful view was even better. So nice that they provided 2 kyacks as well. Highly recommend this property.
