The Garden Annex- Perfect holiday home for family in Wotton-under-Edge

The Garden Annex is a family-oriented accommodation which offers a well-equipped kitchen for self catering, free Wi-Fi and private parking. There are two bedrooms, one double with en suit and the other has 2-single bed. The bathroom is equipped with a bath and shower plus complementary toiletries. This fully furnished annex also offers a hair dryer, towels, washing machine, tumble dryer, dish washer. Ironing supplies are available upon request.

The property is surrounded by the beautiful and child-friendly Victorian walled garden of Eastwood Garden Centre, where children are able to enjoy the playground, pet area and gardens. The Garden Centre has a cosy and relaxing tearoom offering breakfasts and hot meals plus freshly ground coffee and cakes.

The Garden Annex is perfectly located just 9 miles from Slimbridge Wetland Centre, 13 miles from Bristol Zoo and 20 miles from Noah's Ark Zoo. For shopping and restaurants, 7 minutes drive to Thornbury Town Centre and 15 minutes to Cribbs Causeway. For business and work, only 5 minutes walk to Eastwood Park Training and Conference Centre and 10 miles from Aztec West.

New Year Getaway

The property was beautiful and clean and very homely. It was lovely and warm, on occasions the main bedroom was too warm, but had difficult getting the temperature down, assuringly because the boiler and tank were in this room. We would strongly recommend a stay here beautiful scenery and wandering around the garden centre looking at goats and pig was quite cathartic. The only downside was it lacked a few essential kitchen items, which we left a little note so hopefully that will be corrected before the next people holiday there.

All around pleasant stay

This is a modern, comfortable, and well laid out property. It is convenient to explore the Cotswold, with easy access to major motorways. Mike was always available to answer any questions. We can highly recommend the Huntsman for meals. Made for a very enjoyable week.

Perfect countryside cottage

Excellent location away from the hustle and bustle of Bristol City but close enough to enjoy all of the attractions of the area. Simple parking, lovely play structure for the kids and excellent room in the house. Everything was thought of including milk and cereal for your first morning. Tesco is about 10 minutes away for groceries. Loved the enclosed shower in the main suite. Overall a lovely stay!

Fabulous stay - spotlessly clear & very comfortable

Property in a quiet location but close enough to major route for convenience, spotlessly clean, lovely location. Clean & comfortable beds (a must as far as I am concerned). Host very approachable. Fully equipped kitchen, plenty of space. Will definitely be returning.

Comfortable, clean and spacious accommodation in a rural setting

We wanted a short break with our daughter and our toddler Grandson. The property was very comfortable and a good size. The beds were comfortable which is so important. It was also immaculately clean which we appreciated. It is situated next door to a garden centre but you have complete privacy and plenty of parking. We had breakfast on both days at the on site garden centre cafe which was good. There are some pigs and goats which our Grandson loved. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet, restful break.

Our home away from home

The Garden Annex is our home away from home when we visit our family in the area for extended visits. Everything is clean, fresh, lovely and like new. Two bedrooms, two baths, living room/lounge and the kitchen with seating provides lots of space. The garden center, coffee shop, playground and goats are a hit with all our family members. Apiradee and Michael are gracious hosts and very easy to communicate with. We are very, very happy repeat guests.

Excellent family house

We stayed just after reopening to visit family (outside, obviously). The house had everything we needed for us and our kids (ages 4 and 5) - the goats, pigs and playarea were an added bonus. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Outstanding two bedroom cottage

The garden annex is an outstanding two bedroom cottage near the Cotswolds, Thornbury and Bristol. We stayed for six weeks to welcome a new granddaughter into the world nearby. We would recommend the garden annex in the highest possible terms. It is maintained like new, spotlessly clean, easy set-up for self catering, lots of light in lounge and it adjoins the nursery grounds with goats, ducks and a tea room. Very quiet and very private. Michael and Apiradee are gracious and helpful hosts. We will be back to this location for family visits.

Perfect quiet place to retreat

We had a fabulous stay here, whilst attending a family wedding. The property is spacious, spotless and faultless, next door to a small, pleasant garden-centre with a lovely coffee shop, yet very private. Access is easy, surrounding countryside very pretty and Mike and Apiradee couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. A lovely place to stay for a very special, local family occasion.

Stunning!

Absolutely fabulous place, location and owners. Cottage was modern, scrupulously clean and had everything we needed. Set on a garden centre which gave us access to the gardens, coffee shop and my daughter loved the animals, she even fed the goats. Great location for exploring the south west. Will definitely be returning!

C'était juste parfait ! It was just perfect !

First, thanks to Mickael and Apiradee ! we enjoyed so much our holidays in your homestay ! This place is so wonderful. ! Everything is there ! (even the weather ! :) ).The playground is very interesting for children, the tea room is a good way to have a real English breakfast. The icing on the cake is : goats, pigs, guinea pigs ! They are here for the pleasure of everybody, especially for chilldren. So, this place is worth to be known, and visited ! Mickael and Apiradee are so friendly and welcoming, they are so lovely ! All of my family recommends this adress ! Translation in french : allez y c'est trop bien :) tout est là pour passer d'excellentes vacances, reposantes, agréables. II y a un grand espace équivalent à un parc, idéal pour les enfants, des animaux (chèvres, cochons, cochons d'Inde, canards ) qui ont ravi nos enfants. L'endroit est également bien placé pour visiter les "choses à voir " autour de Bristol. Mickael et Apiradee sont des hôtes extras : serviables, disponibles, de bons conseils pour connaître les bons plans .... Bref toute la famille recommande ce lieu c'est Topissime !!! :) .

Excellent base for a short break

The location was peaceful but very convenient for local attractions. The property was spotless, exceedingly well presented and would definitely recommend it to others. Next to a tearoom which provided and excellent breakfast. The host was very polite, amenable and attentive. This location was a real find.

Spacious well equipped property lovely location

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful property,the very friendly owners have put a lot of thought into it and it is very well equipped. The location is lovely and I would like to visit again in the summer when the garden is at its best. Everthing is on one level so is great for all ages,there is a play area for children ,but equally good for the less mobile as theres the garden centre to look arownd and the tea rooms that serve lunch etc. The property is spacious modern and definitely a very high standard,I would love to stay again.
