  • Our updated, historic multi-family is centrally located in downtown Bristol, Rhode Island. It is a side-by-side, 2 bed 1 bath townhouse that accommodates 4 people on two queen beds. A short walk to downtown shops, restaurants, and the harbor and a short drive to nearby beaches and parks makes this the perfect summer getaway. We are steps away from the longest standing 4th of July Parade route. Come enjoy the Fall foliage once the summer heat has left. We are less than a mile from the Roger Williams University campus.

    Our historic and charming, multi-family was built in the early 1800s and still has a historic feel to it with crooked doors and uneven floors, but that is what gives it charm. Within its historic bones, we have added modern amenities to make sure your stay feels comfortable, cozy, and up to today's standards.

    This is a two-story townhome located in the heart of Bristol. The first floor of the home features a full dining room; a living room with a convertible couch and flatscreen tv with smart capabilities; a bathroom with standup shower including towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hairdryer, iron, washer and dryer; a full kitchen including cookware, utensils, sink, stove/oven, toaster, full fridge, coffee maker, French press, and microwave. On the second floor there are two bedrooms with queen beds, A/C in windows (for summer), remote heating units (for winter), and nightstands. Due to the age of the house, closets were not a necessity in the old days, so our bedrooms include dressers and a large communal hanging closet at the top of the stairs. All amenities you could need for your stay are available for use.

    The backyard is a communal space with the attached townhouse complete with separate BBQ, sitting area, and firepit. Access to the backyard is through a side door in the living area.

This place was great. Easy walk to all the good shops and restaurants in town. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked (good coffee too) and the wifi was fast. I'd happily stay there again.

Great home minutes to ships and restaurants. Host was great and allowed us to check in a few hours earlier due to changes in our plans. Lots of room for my husband and I to spread out! Great stay. Will come against n!

Right out of the gate the host was friendly and helpful. The home is an older home but very well maintained and comfortable! The location is perfect as you’re only a block or two from great bars and restaurants. Check in and check out were simple. There was no problem finding street parking at all!Thank you Michele for providing us with a great rental for the weekend!!! We will be back!!

What a lovely stay we had in Michele's property in Bristol, Rhode Island. The property fits right in with the charm of this lovely and quaint town and is walking distance from many shops, restaurants, coffee shops, parks, and bars. The property had plenty of space and was in a quiet area - the only thing that I would note is that the stairs up to the bedrooms are fairly steep; not an issue for us per se but noteworthy! We had a great visit and felt that Michele went above and beyond to welcome us and make the entire stay seamless. Thank you!

We booked two days. The host was lovely, however when I saw the steep stairs to the bedrooms and the only bathroom on the first floor, for safety reasons we left. Anyone with any mobility issue should not stay here. We couldn’t tell where the bathroom was from the pictures, and I should have asked in retrospect

nice home in a nice location

We enjoyed our stay at the Château which had everything we needed in the home. And the neighborhood (downtown Bristol) is lovely with shops and playgrounds, restaurants and the waterfront in walking distance.

Easy check in, great communication and comfortable spot! It was warm when we arrived but the AC’s cooled it down SUPER quick. We were close to everything and were able to walk to all events in town for a friend’s wedding. Would definitely stay again!!

Wedding weekend

I flew back into town for a quick weekend to watch my Roger Williams roommate get married! This stay was amazing, host was extremely responsive, home was beautiful and very well maintained! I loved the location as it had easy walkable access to anything I needed downtown. Will stay again!

Perfect stay for wedding weekend

Stayed here for a friend’s wedding. Old house on a quiet street with lots of character - walking distance to plenty of bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. Plenty of linens, AC units worked nicely. Plenty of parking along the street. Listing exactly as described. Communication with the host couldn’t have been better.

Charming way to visit Bristol

The property is incredibly convenient to downtown Bristol and Bristol town common. There were a few hot days that the air conditioning units handled easily. The house is charming and cozy and provided enough space for us and our teenagers. Street parking was never an issue.

Access to Fall River for hospital

We stayed here because our daughter was in the hospital in Fall River. We started out in Somerset which was closer, but we had to move to Bristol after needing to extend our stay. Even though it was farther, it is as an easier drive. The town is quaint and we could walk to several restaurants and a convenience store. It was clean and had everything we needed.

Perfect location for our short stay

The property was described and did not disappoint.. A/C units did well managing the heat, especially in the up stairs bedrooms. We were located near the Blithewold mansion where we attended a wedding. Tried restaurants recommended by the host and the bride and groom, all were wonderful. Most are very walkable. Bristol definitely is in the holiday spirit with many activities during the weeks preceding July 4th.

We verbleven twee nachten, met z’n vijven in het huis. Het is een erg net huis goede bedden en een slaapbank. De slaapbank is voor twee nachten prima, maar niet heel comfortabel. We hadden de verhuurders nodig voor een klein probleem, ze reageerde erg snel en losten ons probleem direct op. Waarvoor dank!

Perfect space for a family, steps from Bristol shops and stops

We traveled as a family of two adults, a 3 year old, and a 6 year old. Michele's home was exactly as described - a historic home that was charming even in its floor unevenness :) We stayed during an abnormally hot few days and still felt very comfortable and cool with the fans and AC units. The available washer and dryer were very convenient traveling with young kids. We had no trouble finding street parking in front of the home. There were many cute places to check out just a few short blocks away (or less!), which was perfect traveling with kids that didn't want long walks - we particularly enjoyed Empire Tea & Coffee, Aidan's Pub, Sunset Cafe, and Pivotal Brewery. There is a big playground across High Street, and there is a sweet waterside playground with a pirate ship and a few swings on Thames. On a rainy day I paid for a one-day pass to Play Town on Hope Street that is an indoor play room perfect for little kids to get the wiggles out and play with toys missed from home. You can come and go all day and pay ahead online for a discount. Michele's communication BLEW ME AWAY! So much thorough instruction and detail from the listing itself, to the entry instructions, to the Canva guide she created, in-home welcome note, menus, calendar, and binder. And when we were looking for a recommendation on where to watch a soccer game she replied instantly. Highly recommend staying at a Michele property! You are taken care of well.
