The space
This secluded house is comfortably furnished with a home-like atmosphere. The spacious living area offers room to spread out, take in the silence and relax! Large TV with cable & wifi. The kitchen is equipped to make light meals (no strong smells like curry, fish, cabbage, brussel sprouts etc) or to just microwave popcorn. Whatever you choose, it is all at your finger tips.

The property was beautiful. The house had everything you might need for a family vacation and it truly made the stay even better. Connie was an amazing host and was happy to answer any and all questions I had during my stay. If we ever travel out that way again. Connie's place is high on the list. My partner works in HVAC and truly loved how everything was neatly labeled and set up.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this VRBO! The property was incredibly spacious, providing plenty of room for our family to spread out and relax. One of our favorite features was the lovely porch in the back, where we spent many peaceful hours watching deer and other wildlife. It was truly a serene and picturesque setting.The pickleball court was a huge hit with our active family. We enjoyed many fun and competitive games, making great memories together.Additionally, Connie was fantastic. She was very informative and responsive, ensuring that all our questions were answered promptly and thoroughly. Her excellent communication made our stay even more enjoyable.We highly recommend this VRBO for anyone looking for a relaxing and fun getaway!

Connie has figured it out! Fully loaded kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, spacious living room. Loved the outdoor rooms. Super clean! Only suggestion would be a meal table. Wonderful stay and we will be back!

Exactly what we were looking for

The house is perfectly situated between Madison, Culpeper, Gordonsville, and Barboursville, and other vineyards and towns--it's secluded and quiet but only two minutes to HWY 29. The house was just as it is advertised-We enjoyed the beautiful kitchen for cooking, the screened in porch for relaxing, and the outside games for playing. We will definitely be back.

Great for Girls weekend

The house was great. Lots of room, comfy beds. We hit a few shops in Culpepper, dinner at the Bavarian Chef in Madison. We had some rain so didn’t get to try out the pickle ball court.

Quiet and private

Just the refuge I needed at the end of several long and exhausting days. Quiet, down a long drive away from the main road, with lots of privacy, yet I felt safe and secure as a solo traveler. I look forward to returning - on my own or with family or friends. Great experience overall!

Wonderful Stay - just too short.

Was a wonderful alternative to a hotel for a attending a wedding. Had everything we needed and then some! We were only in for the weekend wedding and this made what little downtime we had VERY comfortable. Connie was awesome and made sure we had no issues.

Celebrate 90th birthday

This property was just perfect for us. The house was extremely comfortable and the large kitchen and den area was idea for visiting with our family members we had not seen in years. It's in a beautiful setting. We will definitely will try to stay here again when coming to the area. Our host was also awesome, and communicated well with us. We highly recommend!

A complete getaway and fun for all

The house was perfect for us. It was a hiking weekend for myself my daughter her two daughter and a best friend. It had everything we wanted and needed. It was very homey and comfortable anything you needed was there. The host was so helpful when I needed help with my reservation. Very very nice and welcoming. I would highly recommend for a get away relaxing time with family or friends

Everything we needed and more!

I would give more than 5 stars if there were more to give. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed. What a beautiful property. There was a putting green and a soon to be Pickle Ball court which currently has a basketball hoop. There is a front deck with plenty of seating and a pergola with a TV. There is a screened in porch at the back of the house which gave a beautiful display of Lightening bugs in the evening along with the sound of frogs and crickets. The beds were very comfortable and the home was very clean and tidy. Connie thought of every detail. All switches were clearly marked so there was no guessing. She even left a card for us to see upon arrival along with a few chocolates. I lost a ring which Connie was kind enough to mail me when the cleaning people found it. The next time we visit our daughter, we will be sure to come back.

Perfect Girls Getaway!

This was our 2nd stay at this adorable and very well maintained property and it was extremely comfortable and clean! We loved that each bedroom also came equipped with sound machines, which we normally have to cart with us on trips. Connie was very easy to communicate with. This property was a great location for us as it was within easy distance to Orange (where we had dinner one night), Ruckersville for antique shopping, and several great wineries and breweries are quite close! We had a fabulous meal at The Bavarian Chef and enjoyed lunch and wine at Early Mountain Vineyards-both within about 10 minutes from the cottage. We would only suggest maybe consider putting in a small firepit and having some corn hole boards for outside fun, but we found this home to be a perfect property and location for our Girls Getaway!

Great Place

We went here to go hiking and hit some surrounding wineries. The house was perfect for us. Clean, well stocked and the host was incredibly helpful and responsive. Could sit on the screened in porch and watch deer walk through the field. Great find. Would definitely stay here again!
