The cottage has been carefully furnished with comfort and convenience at the fore, and the accommodation is perfect for a family or friends holiday, enjoying the delights of the coast and countryside.

On arrival at Strand Cottage you enter into the combined sitting and dining-room with its characterful beamed ceiling and window seats, where you will find two comfortable sofas arranged in front of an inglenook fireplace, complete with a convenient gas-fired stove, providing a comfortable seating area with all the ambience of a real fire. Enjoy watching television or perhaps planning your trips and adventures whilst you relax and unwind in this special cottage. The charming dining area has an oak dining table comfortably seating four, and is complemented by a sideboard and chest containing a selection of board games and toys for all to enjoy. Also provided is also a book collection to suit all, including books of local interest and DVD's

The well-equipped kitchen benefits from a high-beamed ceiling, travertine flooring, and includes a ceramic hob range cooker with two ovens, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and kitchen table, large enough to seat four, making it the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or supper. A hallway leads to the splendid family bathroom, complete with roll-top bath and overhead shower, and there is underfloor heating, a washbasin, WC, and heated towel rail also. Next to the bathroom sits a separate utility room where you will find a washer-dryer, steam iron, ironing board and airer.

On the first floor you will find the two comfortable bedrooms, the first being a 5' king-size, and the second is a twin with 3' single beds, both with ample storage.

Strand Cottage benefits from an enclosed rear garden with views up to the cliff-top coastal path. There is a garden table with chairs, bistro set, swing seat, parasol, charcoal BBQ and chimineas, perfect for relaxing days and enjoying al fresco dining. In addition to being conveniently located for walks to the beach and coast path, the cottage is ideally situated for easy trips to nearby West Bay with its harbour and beaches, and Bridport with its wide variety of independent shops, restaurants and its own cinema/theatre, the Electric Palace, and numerous antique emporia. A drive east along the glorious coast road affords outstanding views, and leads to popular Abbotsbury with its famous Swannery and Sub-Tropical Gardens.
